We're hoping to go to Bonaire for diving and relaxation. Any input on which Apartment is better suited for sleeping than partying? We are thinking of either Windsock or Sun Oceanfront. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Not that we're to picky but ocean view and nice pool are important to us. Thanks.

I'm VERY sensitive to night noise, and we find Bonaire Town Homes perfect for us. As well as a lovely place, it's in a quiet residential neighborhood, with lovely owner/managers. Take a look at www.bonairetownhomes.com.

I would suggest Happy Holiday Homes. We stayed there in March and it was quite nice, very quiet, and very clean. Louise and Mel run a very nice bungalow rental. They have a nice covered patio to sit out during the evenings and enjoy a quiet meal. Highly recommend this place! Good luck.

Another option is Diver's Paradise. I stayed there a couple of nights. It's in Hato, no noise, and Buddy Dive is the dive shop they use.

Very quiet and yet conveniently located are Coco Palm Gardens' apartments in Belnem, 5 minutes from either Kralendijk and Lac Bay. It's only a couple of minutes of walk from a small beach. The gardens are lush and quiet - that is if you discount bird song! We have always enjoyed staying there and shall definitely return. cocopalmgardens.com

I have never been in Bonaire. I am looking for a good and not expensive hotel. I read about Drivers Paradise.
Does anybody has some information about this hotel?
Thanks
Elisa

Susan: When are you going to the Belmar? Curious to find out if the airport noise is a problem at the Belmar. We were at the Plaza in February and I was awake each night around 3:30 a.m. with a flight landing.
