We have come to Bonaire for several years and want to make plans to come again in early August. This year our daughter is getting married and our son is headed off to college...so if we get to come this year, we need to budget a bit. We'd love to stay up the little hill by Oil Slick Leap, but can't remember the name...is it Caribbean Club Bonaire? We snorkel everyday, don't need a dive package, need a small kitchen and would appreciate any info and suggestions.

Yes I believe it is Caribbean Club Bonaire. Their website is here: http://www.caribbeanclubbonaire.com/index_flash.html

Thanks Mike. Has anyone stayed at the Caribbean Club Bonaire and if yes, maybe a favorite room or suggestions? We are open to any other suggestions this year!

Haven't stayed there but visited their restaurant/bar and it seemed to be a very nice location. We did, however, go on a cave snorkel with their dive shop and thoroughly enjoyed it. It looks like a nice place, a grand location and a good restaurant and dive shop operation. They did (at least as of January) have a donkey that visits the bar around happy hour for a snack. He just meanders up the sidewalk (accompanied by resident dog escort) for a munchy offered by the bartender. Looks like a fun place to me.

My wife and I stayed at Caribbean Club Bonaire for 2 weeks last Feb - 1st of March and totally fell in love with the place and the folks that run it. We stayed in E20 and found it delightful. It's very simple but we found it very quiet and loved the moonlit walks along the paved walks along the ocean at night. Like I said the cottages/rooms are simple but clean and it has a great pool. The restaurant & bar are nice and we felt like family by the time we had to leave. We are definitely going to stay there next time on Bonaire. When you get there say hi to Mar(Marjolein) for us.
