My first trip to Bonaire (my husband's 11th or so), for our wedding and honeymoon. We stayed in the Triggerfish room at the Deep Blue View Bed & Breakfast and really enjoyed our stay there as well as our hosts, Ester and Menno. Although I had never snorkeled before, we had multiple sites to snorkel and after a resort course (thanks to Menno), I dove at Bari Reef for the first time with my husband. Beautiful first time experience for me (Hawksbill turtle & free swimming spotted eel) sums up a fantastic honeymoon visiting Bonaire (Spelunk Lighthouse, Pink and Donkey Beaches, Karpata, La Dania, Sarue Largu, Andrea 1, Hamlet, Bopec), with the exception of American Airlines fiasco, we will be back. We had a great experiences dining out, especially at Capriccio's and at the DBV (thank you Esther), not to mention the divers who witnessed our wedding on the beach with the plane fly over at sunset! Thanks to whoever you are, that gave us the tank/champagne toast and the Divi Divi pilot who tipped his wings!
