I'm planning to be in Bonaire in a couple of days. The flights are almost booked anyways. Unfortunately I haven't had luck with accommodations. Mind you I've only tried buddy's so far but I understand that this will be a busy time to travel. I'd be interested in hearing anyone's advice as to whether it would be possible to find an apartment/room on short notice. I'd hate to arrive and not find anything. I'll be doing mostly shore diving so I'll also want a car or pickup. What do you think? Should I go skiing instead?

Personally, I think if you can find a car you can find someplace to stay. How long will you be there?
Here is a link to find accommodations.

I am in the same predicament as Neal. We will be in Bonaire on April 5th until the 11th. We have not been able to find accommodations for 2 people. Can anyone advice us on what to do. OR hotel/inn operators are welcome to contact me directly. All we want is a clean, friendly place to stay where we can do some shore diving.

Hi Gayle, Neal,

if you have a car you could try "The Deep Blue View Bed & Breakfast" (www.deepblueview.com). We will be staying there from April 10 till April 25. I'm not sure whether they have rooms available, but you can always try.

Peter

Thanks for the info. I'll be in Bonaire for just over a week starting Thursday - as long as I can find a place to stay. I'll be on the phone throughout the day and hopefully I'll come up with something.

Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately, the DBV is full. Hopefully, we can come up with something.

Try Sand Dollar also; doubt they would be full.

Check with Benny at Bonaire Town Homes: info@bonairetownhomes.com -- it's a wonderful place if they have room.
