We returned from our second trip to Bonaire Jan. 28, 2004. We stayed at Traveller's Inn Bonaire. We won't stay anywhere else! Managed by Jesse Thode, the studio apartments are very clean and well stocked. Located in Hato, just minutes from Andrea I, it is a lovely residential area. Jesse goes above the call of duty to ensure you have a pleasant stay and all of your needs are meant. His rates are per night, not per person. You can have a rental vehicle included into your room rate for just $40 more per day! We give Traveller's Inn Bonaire a 10 out of 10. We stayed at the Plaza Resort Condos in 2001. It was nice, but very expensive. We prefer Hato over the strip at Windsock. Check it out at info@travellersinnbonaire.com. You can thank us anytime! (And you will!)

We had a great time at the Traveller's Inn. Jesse Thode was very nice and the place was great and above all QUIET except for those damn flocks of wild parrots that fly to & fro from the jungle to Hatoaround in the early morning. Just kidding, the parrots are a bit noisy but we didn't mind them.

Definately a great place to stay, diving gear drying racks outside a nice touch.

Shower, not bath, and warm water, not hot but that apparantly is common on Bonaire and it was plenty warm for us.

I would say 8 out of 10. We will be back!

Just got back 2 nights ago and I am already missing Bonaire. We absolutely had a great time at the Traveller's Inn. The apartment was clean and located in a very quiet neighborhood not very far from town. It was just minutes away to get to the dive shop (Yellow Submarine) and the restaurants and stores on the main drag. We enjoyed breakfast and bbq's in the porch everyday.

Jesse was great and very helpful. He made us feel like we were home away from home and always went out of his way to make for a pleasant stay.

If we are to visit Bonaire again (and you can count on it), we already know that we will be back at the Traveller's Inn. We would not stay anywhere else.

Lynda, thanks for giving credit where credit is due. Wouldn't have considered it if it were not for your recommendation.
