My wife and I staying 5 nights at Windsock 04/10-04/15. Anyone stayed there? Closest places to snorkel. We are looking forward to our first trip to Bonaire, we've been to St. John 8 times and Eluthera once. Thanks for any help. Mike

Those are fairly new apartments just south of the airport. Have not stayed there. The closest beach snorkel area is Donkey beach just a short walk up the road and Bachelors beach a short walk south.

I am escorting a dive group of 12 to 16 divers there in November. Windsock location: on the road south of the airport at the Belnem turnoff. Close to southern dive sites. Only eight suites, all two-bedroom, two bathrooms. New swimming pool.

It looks like a very nice place to stay. They have a very impressive website, too! Carole

My wife and I stayed there for two weeks, 2/1 to 2/15 and enjoyed Windsock. We felt very comfortable and safe. I plan to give Windsock my future business. The bedrooms are very large with great mattresses and pillows. The walk in shower was a real treat. Keep in mind this is just like an apartment so you'll need to buy soap, toilet paper, and kitchen supplies. This was my fourth trip to Bonaire and Residence Windsock was a real plus. The pool is spotless and the landscaping superb. Please give Miss Jessica our best and have a fantastic time. Jerry

Stayed at Windsock about a year ago (right about when the swimming pool got initiated .. by me !!), and it's absolutely a great place ..
The appartments are huge, baring 2 large bedrooms/bathrooms, great kitchen (stove/dishwasher/fridge with ice machine, microwave, the works ..), large porch etc ..
We kinda got to Windsock by accident, but in a few months we'll be back .. just as Jerry says, they've got my future bussiness .. up until when I buy my own place, that is .. :-)
Only thing one might consider is it's not seaside .. but we dive with Wannadive at Eden Beach, and so we have our beach around ..
