I wear my husband out diving, so I need to stay someplace with great snorkeling. I like to take pictures, so I want some shallow water.

Divi Flamingo is perfect for snorkeling. There is great snorkeling in the shallows and all around the cement pier. There is also a little sunken boat just to the right of the cement pier in about 15 feet of water. Renee is right by there and he could do guided snorkels with her to other areas of the island. Her web site is WWW.Reneesnorkeltrips.com . She is great and finds all sorts of thing and her prices are very reasonable. Also, the Woodwind sails from there which is a great 1/2 day of two snorkeling spots and sailing with drinks and lunch included. If you check out my trip reports, you will see how much I love it there!

Capt. Don's Habitat also has a great house reef and shallow snorkeling just north of the diver dock.

The shore snorkeling from Eden Beach north by Sand Dollar, Buddies, et al, (check one of the dive site maps on InfoBonaire for all) to Cap'n Don's is one continuous stretch of good snorkeling. From Divi you can go north to the town piers and south to Plaza. It really is a choice of hotel. My personal choice, from years of shallow water diving, would be SD to Habitat.

carib inn is on the same reef (calabas) as the divi and is definitely worth looking into.
