I'm looking for feedback on these apartments. The are close to Photo Tours at the north end of Captain Don's. They look nice from the web site. I've seen them from staying at Hamlet Sunset Villa (#13) the last two years, but never thought to look them over. We'll be there for three weeks in May. Any info appreciated.

Ron, I've never stayed there, but I visited one of them and a friend of mine staid in one for 4 days. I think the apartments are good, as long as you rent one bungalow. If you rent a studio or a one bedroom apt. there is only a thin door between you and your neighbours...

My family, friends and I stayed there over the New Years holiday. They are fine. I would certainly go with either the full apartment or the one bedroom apartment and not the studio if you can help it. They are all the same, they are not directly on the water but really if you are going diving you can drive the truck from the tank place to the waters edge, go do a set of stairs and off you go into the wild blue yonder. The couple that manage the place are very nice and there is someone on duty there as well to help out. I found it to be a good value.

I have also stayed at Lions Dive, Buddy Dive and BelMar. I guess my absolute favorite is BelMar because every condo has an ocean view - fabulous. Anwyho - I had no problems there except this is the first time I have encountered scorpions on the island but just be careful and all is good. The water pressure is fine, the pool is deep and cool, there is a fridge or two if you have the whole villa/bungalow, a microwave and patio.

Enjoy,

Mara

The Hamlet is close to photo tours--their little container ship shop--not their main shops. We were just there in Dec. and dove with a guy that stayed there and was happy with it.

HAve fun
