Hello All,

Does anyone know how diving at Bellafonte works?
I understand they work with Photo Tours but it's not clear if Photo Tours has anyone on site or if tanks are available on the property.

Any other comments about Bellafonte would also be welcome.

Thanks,
Ernie

What they have onsite is a locking cage to hang/store your gear and spare tanks in, I do not believe there are any tanks delivered there. Outdoor shower and rinse tank, you will probably have to fill it yourself. Wooden bench to gear up on a short walk to the dock across the patio. No diveshop. The water entry /exit is super easy, with a flight of stairs in/out of the water. Very nice diving right in front of the resort. Photo Tours is a short drive away. If you E-mail Sjoord I am sure he will answer any questions you might have pretty quickly.

Ernie...When do you plan on being down there?
We're staying there 2/18-2/29.. I inspected the property last year & it seems pretty nice..
We do all our diving with Toucan which is homebased at the Plaza since they have a lot of shade on their boats. They run a terrific operation & we've dove with them for many many years. It's only a 5 min drive to Plaza & I believe Toucan is also at Belmar which is located next store.

Vince,

This year we'll be down a little later than usual. Looks like the end of April so we'll miss you by a couple months. I have also dove with Toucan when we stayed at the Belmar and it was first rate. (Both the Belmar and Toucan) I was hoping Photo Tours had an arrangement similar to Toucan at Belmar. Seems like Bellafonte is very nice but diving may be just a little (very little!)less convenient.

Ernie

I do know that you can get tanks readily at Photo Tours and store them in the cage at Bellafonte.
