We stopped by to look at their rooms for future reference on our last trip Dec.2003. I was intrigued by their advertisement, showing a beautiful vista view of Bonaire. The Hilltop Bar is quite cute, very funky but there is no "view" to speak of. Also, when looking at the rooms, we were shown a 2 bedroom unit which has air conditioning in only the bedrooms, a very small bathroom, stand up shower only, no tub. The rooms were neat and clean but again, no views on this property. The location is very convenient to the North dive sites. I personally like to stay at a place with at least access to the ocean so we stayed at Plaza. Plenty of room to "walk around" at Plaza, whereas CCB is quite cozy and small.

I've never stayed there or seen the rooms. We like the happy hour/dinner time at their bar/restaurant. They have a nice pool which my kids love. We meet friends there and have a nice leisurely drink before dinner while my kids attack the pool. It has a really nice ambience - dark wood bar, large wide covered verandah.

barbara, it's very common on bonaire to have airco only in the bedrooms. i would think with caribbean club being on a hill the breeze would be strong enough that you wouldn't need it. same goes for bathtubs. showers use less water so most places have showers only. also, hot water tanks are becoming very common but are still not guaranteed everywhere...take a shower in the afternoon and you only have to turn on the cold water.

I am also interested in some info on this resort. I have been past it on previous trips and it appears that some of the cottages have good water and sunset views from the patios. Does anyone know if this is true and what the numbers are of those units? I understand that it has recently undergone some re-construction. How easy is the access to the air tanks and rinse tanks? Storage of gear etc.? Kitchen facilities? Any recent info would be appreciated.

Steve, there's a dive shop on premise, I think that's affiliated with Photo Tours (or not, the mind fails), but we visited the bar and the dive shop and it seemed to be a fairly nice, not at all opulent but quiet and seemingly well kept, location

We recently stayed there and really thought the place was great. We didn't use the diveshop on premises as it was always closed and we were given heads up to this the day we arrived. We went to Wannadive for air and the fellows over there were great. Easy access to air 24/7. Bart and the guys were super.

Suzanne, Do you remember which cottage you were in. My wife & I are headed to Bonaire next week for two weeks and we'll be staying at the Caribbean Club so it's nice to know it's a nice place. We wanted someplace quite and peaceful.
