I start to look at every accomodations on InfoBonaire but now my eyes are dry (computer screen!), I have notes here and there, and I just thought about asking to experimented people, BTalkers!

We are looking for a good but cheap place to stay (studio w/kitchenette) for a week at the end of January, including dive packages and car rental.

If it's not too expensive, then maybe we can think of being there for 10 days!! : D

Thanks for your help!

We don't think you could do better than Coco Palm Garden. Cheap, charming and run by helpful people. Have a wonderful time!

Check out Bonaire Town HOmes: www.bonairetownhomes.com. We'll be there with them then, in the two-bedroom unit, but maybe the one-bedroom is available. We LOVE it there. Although I don't think they do an actual package with dive/vehicle, they do have connections that get you a discount at both PhotoTours and Everts car rental, so putting together a package is very simple.

We went there our second visit to Bonaire, because I wanted to go for twice the length of the first trip, and needed very budget accommodations. We found that while budget, we didn't lack of anything we wanted, and the owners are particularly delightful and helpful.

Good luck. Bonaire is worth the work to get to.

I just came back after staying in one of Coco Palm Garden's apartments. Brigitte and Marion are both wonderful. It's your own house/apartment while you are there. You can ask for maid service, etc., get a dive package, etc. I wanted something different than a resort and I have to say it was pretty close to perfect. http://www.cocopalmgarden.com

My husband and I recently stayed at Yachtclub for two weeks and it was fine. I agree that it is a good place for an extended stay and/or someone on a budget.

The Lagoen Hills package is hard to beat. Our package for 4 last August was 1/2 the cost of most of the other major sites. EZ drive-thru tank storage, a house and a no-problem truck rental. Check the link from infobonaire main page.
