Hi! We are planning our second trip to Bonaire in March, only this time we are bringing along our "almost 8" year old daughter. Can anyone give me any information on hotels/resorts that have children's activities while "Mom and Dad" are diving? We stayed at the Plaza last June (loved it!) and think they have something although I can't find any information on it. Thank you for any/all information!

The program at Plaza is Aqua Kids and it is through the dive shop.

I've had my daughter in Caren Eckrich's Sea and Discover programs for our last 4 visits. Caren runs a great program - lots of fun and learning.

Caren's program has been outstanding. She will pick up and drop off from the Plaza and most other places on the island, is truly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our daughter LOVES her, and even though she is now 14 and has a Rescue certification (has been coming to Bonaire since 9 y/o) can't wait to spend time w/ Caren snorkeling, learning fish ID etc. The hotel programs are fine - we used to use the program at Sand Dollar - but different staff for every trip, some better than others.

Maggie tells EVERYONE she has ID'd 68 fish with Caren. She loves her. I cannot wait to meet Isabel and see Bonnie again..her lovely daughter.
