I've spent most of my day online looking for suitable accomodation for four 'senior' divers for a two-week vacation in Feb or March. Prior to our '02 vacation there I had developed quite a book of information, all taken from this site. At that time we needed a three-bedroom unit so our choices were somewhat limited. We eventually stayed at LBR, in Joe Bird's unit and it worked really well for us. This time we just need a 2-bedroom so I'm lookin' around. Two years ago there were numerous reviews for Happy Holiday Homes, which is just down the road from LBR. It got rave reviews from regulars. I could find very little online today that referred to this resort. But I contacted them and it still looks great! So I think we're going to make our plans to stay there, based on all the good comments in the past, and their prompt and friendly reply today.

Freda: Just got back from Bonaire 2 weeks ago. My brothers stayed at Triple H. They loved it; my wife and I got the chance to check out their accommodations and we have decided to stay there next time. Their unit was clean, fully equipped, everything worked and it was bug free. Not true our villa at the Plaza; so, its Triple H for us next time. Be advised: Triple H is not hip to running the air conditioner in the unit 24 hours a day - they like you to hold it down to 8 or 10 hours per day (most of this time being at night). Speaking strictly for ourselves, we can live with this - trade winds ya' know. Also, hope you don't mind donkeys in the front yard now and then - cool or what? Have a good Dive!

My wife and I stayed at Sand Dollar Condo Resort in September. We traveled with two other couples. All of us stayed at Sand Dollar. We were all pleased. The units were clean, well-maintained, and well-euipped. The atmosphere was quiet and private. The dive operator was convenient - on the premises. We are planning a return trip next year and plan to stay at Sand Dollar again. You can check out their website - www.sanddollarbonaire.com.

HHH is the best. My wife and I have been staying there for the past 10 years. You will love it.

In case HHH isn't available, or you want to look elsewhere, check out Bonaire Town Homes --- my VERY favorite place for the last five Bonaire trips. They have one two-bedroom unit and it's wonderful there. I'll be using it from Dec. 29 to Feb 2, but it may be available after that.
