Hello everyone, I'm new to this board but love Bonaire so I feel right at home. Can anyone give me some feedback on the Yacht Club Apt's? I've only visited the island once and at that time we stayed at the Caribbean Court. We were fine there. I know there are nicer places to stay but I'm forced to fly economy so I can get at least two dive trips per year.

Jay, for an economy location, you may want to check out Bonaire Town Hom es -- we do only one trip a year, but I stay five weeks, so budget (but nice!!) accommodation is essential. Check out www.bonairetownhomes.com for information

Coco Palms is another great place to stay for those on a budget. Quiet neighborhood, close to Bachlor's Beach. They also have good truck rental rates.

The Yachtclub Apts are a very good value. They are clean and equipped with all the basics necessary for an extended stay. The location is great, across the road from Harbor Village. We have stayed there twice and are going back for Christmas.

I'm glad to hear the positive report on the Yacht Club Apartments. I hadn't found many postings about the facilities. We will in Bonaire for the first time during Christmas and are staying at the YC Apts.

thanks for sharing info about yacht club apts.. I will be there in 5 days! Do you know anything about wanna dive - the shop near the apts?

It's about a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute car ride to WannaDive's shop at Eden Beach from Yacht Club Apartments.

Getting close to our trip time in Bonaire. We too will be staying at Yacht Club Apts. over Christmas.This will be our first time staying there and we're pleased by the good reports!Maybe we can meet up for a quick visit and share experiences and tips!?

WannaDive is great! We dove with them last year, and they're a fun bunch of guys. We're also diving with them next week
