Anyone have any experiences with wiring money to Bonaire to pay for lodging?

Willa, I have used Western Union for a personal wire transfer once. It was SWIFT and easy. Another time a hotel wired me a commission via my bank and it took about two weeks to get it..VERY unusual. I have had wire transfers around the world and found that one time experience very unusual. I think something went wrong but was told that this is the norm...(when I posed why it took two weeks to get my money).
