My wife and I are planning a trip to Bonaire for the first time in October. Has anyone stayed at the Bellafonte? Many thanks.

Did not stay there but toured the hotel last sept. Completly remodeled or new. Several different room sizes to choose from. No dive shop on site but diving can be arranged. Grounds and rooms are clean and airy. Hope this helps.

Bellafonte has nice rooms, luxury kitchens, balconys, a large dock with a stair into the water, and a reef right out in front. Outdoor shower, odd though large gear rinsing stone tank, outdoor lockable dive locker area (all divers have keys.) We saw a nice eagle ray cruising below us on the edge of the sandy bottom. We spent two nights there last April. AC in the rooms, no screen sin the rest of the place. Photo Tours is the closest Nitrox I think, a nice operation, we only shore dive though.Tthere is a Toucan operation closer down the road at Bel Mar and they have I think some nitrox too.
