Has been a raining heavy and the thunderclouds have been a boom banga bangin' in the sky this morning. It is very warm and sticky, but the sun is trying to shine now. The damp weather brings the froggies out around the pond.

Found this one under the stone seat.

It's...

Mud Pack Day

The best old-fashioned, time-tested facial is... MUD! You might dig up some dirt in your own yard - or go buy a cheap mud masque at any drug store. This refreshes your skin by stimulating blood circulation and relaxing tired muscles. If you need a "pick-me-up" just wash your face, apply the mud pack, allow 15 minutes for it to dry and harden, then remove with warm water and a washcloth. Oh... and don't go near anyone who has a camera! anything

pc Waah - Annie! I don't get it - most days this PC runs like a dream then I'll get a couple days in a row where I can't seem to stay connected or I freeze before I get going anywhere. It just took me three or four tries to get thru yesterday's thread. That's why I gave up and spent the day reading. Too frustrating sometimes.

book I've been reading a book a day - mostly new pb fiction. Lots of intrigue - action and chases and secrets hidden for thousands of years. They're all like Indiana Jones with a twist. When I've read enough of these I'll get back to the fantasy pile.

Caught a couple fishies when I got on the first time. Your pal, Porky came by - there may be more in the Archives.

scroll So don't worry if I drop out again today - I'm right in the middle of a search for a 400 year old manuscript destined to change the world! LOL

Margarite. That hasn't made any difference here at all. Did Rusty get froze out again or what.

The BBQ has a vent at the top where the smoke escapes through. Look at the top left you will see the vent, and it works perfectly. Annie B.

I was asking about the smoke because when we smoke meats, we try to keep the smoke in for a while to force it into the meat. But we also use charcoal instead of wood. We use wood chips for the smokey flavor and we use charcoal for the heat. YOu probably have that style of cooker also in UK. At the moment we are so busy we have resorted to a gas fired grill and we use a metal smoker box to hold our wood chips so we get a smokey flavor. It fires up really quick and still tastes really good. We use it almost every day. .....Start it at 6pm; dinner on the table by 7pm, depending on what we cook. I just love outdoor cooking. p Stole this one from you.

Margarite. The stone BBQ is open at the front, just as you see it in the pics. The chimnea however can also double as a bbq. It has a special grid which is removable. We haven't cooked on that one yet, just used it as a patio heater so far. Annie B

Bon Noche all. Thank God they showed up, I've been having a terrible time with the cam timing. The seconds are right but the minute hand is hard to read. Those two signs were suppose to show up underwater a few days back but bad timing. This morning they were a little to far from the camera. Maybe one of these days I'll get it right.

Annie, hello GB from B. Nice pictures.

Well it's our last day and we're very depressed. We went to the park this morning and then ice cream in Ricon, YUMMY. Just one more event, dinner at Gibi's and our last sunset.

Did my last two dives yesterday, just as we were sucking the last of the air a large free swimming Spotted Moray came up to say good bye. Very nice of him.

Tomorrow travel, pray for bad weather so they keep us. If not we should be home by late afternoon and then back to work on Thursday, barf.

Oh,poor, Cecil......Well you know what to do. Start right now planning your next trip. Jimmy and I are no longer giving each other b-day or x-mas or anniversary gifts. We are starting a Bonaire Vacation Fund. Then every time we can get away from work...WE'RE GOING. Just knowing that makes me feel better. Now we need a new deck in back, furniture is looking a bit worn,....but it can just wait. And I'll be wearing that same damn dress one more year. I've got my priorities.P

Hi again Gang, Rusty Yes the same spot!!! old reliable!!!
The lobsters were about 1 1/2 pounds 2 pounds.. Had another one in my hand but it was a female with eggs.. very illegal to take those!!!! George saw a legal {28 inches} stripped bass and tried to shoot him but missed..
Cynde, the new gun is not for bottom shooting... it will have to wait until he comes on the boat again for a wreck dive..at least that is what he is saying..
Annie glad you got together with Sarah,,isn't it fun to talk BT???
Cecil and Sue please except my sympathy for your PBD that will soon set in real big time!!! have a safe flight and write that trip report as soon as you are home..and we want to know all the dirty details!!!:-) well maybe not ALL the details!!!
I think I am having lunch with Bob Ligouri on Thursday..Yippee another BT meeting!!! I'll let you know if we should go to the inlet cam!!!

aw she wont know unless you tell her. I am so excited I am so proud and glad that we have this board to come to I have to tell you all a neat story. I dont know if you all read every posting in the other section. But yesterday someone posted on getting to bonaire that fri flights had been cancelled by aj I was freaking as I am flying out on a friday. Well aj assured me that my flight was still on but then today getting conflicting storys. So I called aj and told the rep about all the discussion on that thread and that alot of people read this to make decisions about going to bonaire and where to stay etc. SO he came on and told everyone not to worry that the flights were still on fri. ITs amazing by us all sharing what we can get accomplished.
