Man, 4 days and the man will FINALLY get to the island! I know the anticipation of his much needed vacation is killing me, must be really hard for him...i still think the turning point was when his boss came into cecil's office and saw him sitting there eating his candybar and dreaming of bonaire...

I don't know what to say about that particular picture other than a total lack of anything purple to take to Bonaire. That may change by Saturday, but the clock is ticking.

On the other fronts, the gathering of stuff continues, the things I think I have enough of, batteries, memory, music, diving gear, shorts, swim suits, and tee-shirts. The last two still need the approval and consent from Sue. She looks for outfits, I just count quanity.

Don't forget sunscreen, a bit of bug repellent for the wimpy Bonaire mosquitos, film if you use a regular camera, some say to bring a small bottle of dish soap ( good idea). Where are you staying? Did you get a truck???

Cecil, Have an awesome time on your maiden voyage to paradise!!!! I will be looking forward to your trip report with great antisipation!!!!! Sue, enjoy the snorkeling. It is incredible there and be sure to spend at least one morning sailing on the Woodwind. Even with Renee not there, you will love the adventure. Just the other day they were sailing with a pod of dolphins aside of them for about twenty minutes!!! Oh, how I wish I was there for that one!!! Enjoy!!!!!

Cecil. At least you didn't say that you were counting the cost of the outfits, but just how many like this do you need? LOL. Can't wait to see you on the cams. Hope you both have a great time there. Annie B.

Don't forget the voltage adaptor.

suitcase I really think we need to help Cecil pack. For all we know, without our help, he'll get to Bonaire with a six pack and a TV remote.

purple Okay - can't ever have too many purple thongs, right, and he'll need a rubber chicken.

Thanks all. Got lots of sunscreen, but what is this film stuff? I have a distant memory of that stuff but seem to have forgotten.

Scored some need bug stuff yesterday at Eastern Mountain Sports, it's an 18% solution of DEET which normally is not enough. It's claim to fame is it's suppose to be time released, we'll see. I always have the 100% stuff to fall back on.

We also scored a truck from Telerin, Dee at Carradonna Travel did a great job finding this for us and at a bargain price to boot. Kudos to Dee.

Darlene, thanks for reminding me about the Woodwind, I'm going to forget. What I need to do is tell Sue, she's not nearly as drifty as myself.

cecil, you do need help (per rusty's idea) she's right...thank goodness you have sue, or you would show up with a six pack, remote, digital camera, bag of fritos and 3 bucks in your pocket...heck, bet you could last a few days on that!

Good thing I practice catch and release fishing or Charlotte would have been dinner. She's would not be much more than a bitefull anyway :-).

Sue now knows of the Woodwind.

Andy hairdryer is always the last thing that get packed, need it right up to the last second before leaving. Don't want any of those AA employees to get a bad impression of my hair. Us BT'ers have a very high bar to top at least with respect to hair. Barry has put that bar in the toposphere. I do have a little bit of a leg up, in that I still have little left (well actually right that I swoop over the top).

No I am not sleeping well, in the Navy we called this Channel Fever. When we were going home (ie in the Channel), you'd see sailors wandering the hallways all hours of the night (and day). Sleep is hard to come by with that level of anticipation.

Work is not a problem, I never concentrate here anyway:-).

Cecil if you don't want to wear the man's choice of hat (bikini bottoms) you could easily pack a purple sweat band.

sweat Good choice, Clint. See - white men CAN pack. LOL

purple I found Cecil a nice purple shirt for Happy Hour (at Hilo Hatties). All it needs is the BT International Diveflag embroidered onto the front!
