It's Tap Dancing Day tap

Tap dancing combined the elements of African drumming and dancing with the techniques of European clog and step dancing. It was a melting pot of cultures that came together in the late 1800s.

tap Taps were added to the heels and toes of shoes in 1925 to make the fast tapping easier to hear. The US Congress designated May 25th as National Tap Dancing Day in honor of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson's birthday.

Let's dance while we wait for the cams. LOL

morning rusty and martin! martin, 2 days at the office and you're gone? i can't believe it is here already! oh my gosh!

kids got in a-ok...and of course, now we have 4. dylon and his best friend matt, sarah and her best friend ashley. ordered an extra large pizza last night and WOLF...nothin' left this morning! sarah lived with us until she was 13 (she's now 16) and we have always flown the kids back and forth monthly (mom lives in arizona) for years...until michael was laid off this last time, just couldn't swing it, so we haven't seen them since thanksgiving. i swear dylon has changed the most...like i said, he has shaved his head for YEARS , and now has hair...he looks really cute (he would kill me if he knew i said that!) LOL, got all his stuff put away, hung a couple of posters on the wall, and we had our "christmas" as it had to be delayed until michael found work...i asked them i they wanted me to play christmas music, and a resounding "uh...no" was heard! LOL...his voice changed about a year ago, and now he is shaving...they grow up tooooo fast!

Bon Dia all. Martins getting pretty short, I've still got 13 days, 4 hours, 52 minutes, 37 seconds. Two weeks from right now I should be on my checkout dive with Toucan divers.

Cynde I checked last night's sunsets and was not impressed enough to post them, not sure where Rusty found those gems. Maybe a senior blond moment.

Guess what, it worked...
