Here's my Tulips today. Got a ways to go.
Tulips

The water fowl have also been a little desperate. Any water will do.
Geese

You got to wonder if their little feet get cold.

fudgicle Our candy apples have a hard sticky red shell that is probably 99% sugar and 1% red food coloring. I bet our caramel apples are like your toffee - brown and sticky? Your floss is our cotton candy and it usually comes on a paper cone. The colors of cotton candy have gotten brighter over the years - now they are day-glo/neon!

Had a butterfly earlier, and a diver shot:

hh cecil Jeez, life is rough up there near the Arctic Circle. Those Canada Geese are wondering how come they didn't fly further South! Our tulips are a half-inch ahead of yours and our daffodils are just about the same height. It's going to be a photo finish!

cecil, cool bird shots...when i was a blushing newlywed (with my ex) and we bought our first house in DC, when the tulips started coming up, they were in a patch by the grass, and i mowed them over cause i thought they were weeds!

And yes, I do believe that almost all the tulips in the world are grown in Holland. I have been over there when they are in full bloom, and it is absolutely stunning.

annie b...hope you don't get darren and emma's flu bug...lots of rest and "hot totties":-)

Hot Tottie

1 mug
fill 3/4 mug with orange or grapefruit juice
fill 1/3 mug with good ole whiskey
add a teaspoon of honey
heat up in microwave
sip till you feel better (usually 1/2 mug down and you should feel pretty good:-) that is what my grandpa used to give us when we were sick...still use it today...better than nyquil!

Of course, since 3/4 and 1/3 is more than a full mug, you'll need to take that extra whiskey straight. With a 12 oz. mug, that's an ounce neat--almost a shot. Bottom's up.
