Awww… sorry Cynde. I’ve lost my kitty a several years ago and I know how sad I was. I’ve had my current one for 4 years (came with my wife, good package deal). He’s now getting to be an older cat and I hate to think about him not waking me up every morning and falling asleep with him on our feet. Best thing to do is to drive down to the pound and return with a new friend who will never replace, but help you remember how much you like having a good kitty around.

Annie, I hope things go well for your daughter.

The PBD is starting to kick in, probably brought on by the 25 degree temperature and the 25 mile an hour wind. Perhaps a little snow tomorrow night will cheer me up and get me in the holiday mood.

Cynde,

So sorry to hear about Sombra. Takes you aback when it happens so unexpectedly. Sombra looked comfortably large, like our own 15 year-old 23+ pound black-and-white ball of fur. Trips to the vet. are like, "here comes the guilt trip!"

No doubt your other cats know what has happened.

Hope you all give each other lots of hugs today and always,

Bill

thanks for the kind words everyone...i am thankful that she didn't suffer (and that michael found her, not me...i told michael that maybe the 4 teenagers in the house for thanksgiving did her in!...poor thing...she went through one divorce, one marraige, and saw 2 dogs go, and 4 added, plus our other 2 kitties added...maybe it was just too stressful for her....billbot, our wiener dogs are fat too, and yes, a trip to the vet is definetly a guilt trip!

Well I'm sure that your time spent on Bonaire will be 90% work-work-work on Zoology. Judging from the street cam it is a zoo out there! Remember, no taking samples!
