Earlier this month (it is still November, eh?) we had the pleasure of consuming an epicure's delight at Chez Nous prepared by the team of stalwarts who were going to represent Bonaire in the annual culinary competition. I think the competition was scheduled for mid or late Nov. Did we miss it? Are we still waiting? Any news (good, of course?)

Oooh, is Martin (I think that's his name) from RendezVous still doing the desserts on the team? We had a -fabulous- dessert there one night when we had called ahead and asked him if he could do a strict veggie dinner for us. Even Jake and Linda asked to have the dessert, as they had a feeling Martin might do a bit of practice on us... It was a sweet funchi, with a hot apple (and pear, I think?) topping, just out of this world... yummmmmm!
