Hi all, great pics you all posted the last few days! Sarah, happy belated birthday...i gave an eel a great big kiss for your birthday! had a fantastic trip...truly amazing. the university has a great research environment set up, and we had a ball. kayaking and diving, took 3 rolls of film, i hope they come out good! on the way over we saw a huge pod of dolphins and sea lions feeding on a bait ball, and on the way back today we saw a california grey whale pass, and a mako shark break the surface...and that wasn't the best part of the trip! I will post some pics when i get them organized, and get the website up. anyway, off to class tonight...hopefully it won't be long!

Sounds like you had a great field trip.. wish I could have been there with you.. it must have been so cool to see that Mako shark...imagine the speed this species must reach in order for it to leap out of the water like that!
