MOMS IN GROUP THERAPY

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children. "You all have obsessions," he observed.

To the first mother, Mary, he said, "You are obsessed with eating. You've even named your daughter Candy."

He turned to the second Mom, Ann: "Your obsession is with money. Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."

He turned to the third Mom, Joyce: "Your obsession is alcohol. This too shows itself in your child's name, Brandy."

At this point, the fourth mother, Kathy, quietly got up, took her little boy by the hand, and whispered, "Come on, Dick, this guy has no idea what he's talking about. Let's pick up Peter and Willy from school and go get dinner.

The Haircut

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.

After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

Good Morning everyone!!! Been busy - but have been lurking!

Well it's official - the snow is gone from our yard!!!! Said goodbye to the last patch yesterday (not sure why but I was a bit sad....).

But this morning, fog rolled in and because it is below freezing - cool things happen - ice forms on the plants. Took pics - no not trying to be a professional - just looked beautiful this morning!



Off soon shoppin' with a Riker and Kedron... It's my close friend's due date today.... so thinkin' - c'mon baby!

I am enclosing four (4) toilet seats (valued @ $2,400) and six (6) hammers (valued @ $1,029), which I secured at Home Depot, bringing my total remittance to $3,429.00. Please apply the overpayment of $22.00 to the "Presidential Election Fund," as noted on my return.

You can do this inexpensively by sending them one (1) 1.5 " Phillips Head screw (see aforementioned article from USA Today newspaper detailing how H.U.D. pays $22.00 each for 1.5" Phillips Head Screws). One screw is enclosed for your convenience.

It has been a pleasure to pay my tax bill this year, and I look forward to paying it again next year.

His wife was not amused , and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded. The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the heck is this?' he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out.

'April' , he hollered into the bathroom , 'Why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?'

She replied , 'It's not talcum powder; it's 'MiracleGrow'!

Back to rain and cold here in NorCal. How stupid. Hope this is the last round before spring finally shows up. I know, I know....were babies about weather, not like you robust East Coasters. You could live here too!

So, today Mom and I are fighting fleas!! We have bathed all of the dogs. 3 chihuahua's and one Silky(like a big yorkie)...Luckily Rita is on Comfortis and has no fleas. But her "Baba" had a sample of Rita's special shampoo, so, she's clean and shiny!!!

Went to the doc today, seems I MAY have diverticulitus. G says that's because we dive. He has it also. So, the doc is treating me for that and will call me next Tues. and see how I feel. I must be well the weekend of the 21st of May!!! I have my priorities!!!!!!

Dang, this computer just went NUTS!!! I was on FB, then logged out, and went to shut it down...There where like 50 small windows of FB that opened!! AND I couldn't close them....Finally I just turned this thing off. I can't afford a virus on this right now. SO, no more FB....at least til later. I do want to see if it happens again.....ODD.
