I talked with Louise this morning..She has not set a date as of yet for the Celebration of Life as she would like to make it convenient
for as many of Jerry's BT family that are possible to attend..

I thought it would be a good idea for you all to post what IS available in your schedule, so that Lou might select a date.

She knows that not everyone will be available at the same time but will do her best with a bit of help,but also wanted to let you know that if you can't make it, you will be there in her heart anyway.. Jerry had told her that BT IS his family.Lou said she felt honored to do this for us and for Jerry, as she knows this is what he would have wanted us all to do. She also knows that people will try to come from all over the states to attend, and maybe a couple from Europe and UK as well

Please let us know as soon as possible either the dates that are good for you or the dates that might not work... thank you all

I will do my best no matter what to make it but the second weekend in May I cannot and July going to Bonaire. Other than that anything else I can rearrange.

Oops first and second weekend...Rianna has her DC trip that week.

For us it is the May long wkd (May 21 wkd) and first wkd in June. Joel and I are going to try to make it work !!!

Guy and I have nothing scheduled --- we're still doing stay-cations to be with Rasta ♥

Depending on things... we may take the chance to come for a weekend... we really want to be there in person.

My schedule is erratic and in flux for the next few months due to some of my own issues and my work commitments. If I can make it when it's scheduled, I will.

Any time in June. Any time in April. Any time in May but May 8th(Mother's Day), May 14/15 I can make work.

Frankly I think I'm still in the Nile in regard to Jerry being gone....i'm going under my desk...

Cynde, me too...I'm stuck between denial and disbelief. Just can't accept it or make sense of it.

Saint Louise, since Eric and I will have to come a ways, we will spend a couple extra days in the area...if you need any help with anything related to this event or otherwise, we can help.

We have a Virginia and UK trip to make this year... not confident we could make it, but will advise when a date has been set. xo

June 18th to 26th is all I have booked up so far.

of course I am also presuming it won't be as early as 29th April, as I may be going to a wedding on that day

Oh and happy to say my new passport arrived on Friday so I'm ready to jump the pond once I know the dates all I have to do is apply for my ESTA.

First and last weekends in June we have graduations. However, the first graduation is Sunday, June 5th in Mass, for my niece, so if it is Saturday, it would work. Otherwise I just need enough notice to get time off. Also not able to take ANY time July/August as that had to be requested months ago! Gotta love summers with the police department

We can't do 30th April to 8th May, 11th/12th June, July 1st through 10th

Jerry would be very please to have his BT family and family and friends celebrate his life.I know in my heart that is what he would have wanted. The strangest thing just happen as I am typing this e-mail, 2 cardinal (1 female and a male just landed on the buterfly bush by my back door where Jerry used to hang out)Maybe it is the sign I have been waiting for...
It would be welcome if anybody would like to make a small eulogy about Jerry at that time.

Saint Louise....that brought a tear...again...I felt jerrys presense briefly on march 13th around 4:35 pm...he is with you, no doubt...I'll be calling you soon. Ive been waiting for things to settle a little.

I hope to be able to make it, but it depends on timing and finances...will definitely make every attempt and if not, will be there in spirit.. The first 2 weeks in July are probably not good (but the middle of the second week, I might actually be in Massachusetts for a few days)

I agree Smack and PS. Louise, pick what works best for you and everyone else will do their best. I know everyone would love to be there but it will be far too difficult to co-ordinate with all the people that love Jerry and you, there are so many of us!
