Miserable does not adequately describe the weather in the Philadelphia area. This afternoon, we are supposed to get 60 mph winds, along with rain. I am sitting here listening to Al Rooker (sp) on the Today Show in Miami at the Wine and Food Festival. It is in the high 70's already with more sunshine than that state needs. LOL Sorry Linda and Tim and SJ. But what the hell, in 4 weeks I'll be there. My son, Ryan, called me last night to see if I wanted to go fishing while there. I said, Oh yeah!!!

Jim, Wow! 60 mph winds? Open your windows and your spring cleaning will be done.
Have a grand time down here in 4 weeks. Maybe it will be up in the 80's. LOL!

I now have to buckle down and get some work done. I'm only in the "D"s from that huge pile of files from the blood bank we merged with, and have about 500 more accounts or transactions to post. URG!

Woke up to 4"-6" of white stuff in NE Ohio this morning. With all the advance warning, you'd think the roads would have been plowed. But, noooooooo.

Predicting up to 12" by late today. Yikes !!

Tim, absolutely. Maybe Francesca will mate on the boat if we ask her. :) :) :)

For those that don't know, Francesca was our dive master when Tim and I went on Buddy's boat to the Washington Park last year for a 3 tanker. She was from Italy, and not real hard to look at. :)

Morning BT from Arctic Santa Barbara :)
KKKrrrrazy weather here... today cold and raining that will move to colder and snow! Watching the local news this morning and they had so many segments on driving in the snow, safety in the snow, snow tips and tricks.... might seem a overboard (and it is) but when I first moved here from DC I always caught myself thinking 'how will they get up that drive way or that road?' .... might just get to see!!

Keeping the light on for Jerry and louise... Caymus must be beside himself with worry for Louise and missing Jerry.

Linda, I realized the errors of my ways as soon as I posted the mating thing. LOL

Tara, welcome to our world. Talked to Kate this morning in SFO. She told me she saw snow there for the first time yesterday.

Still thinking about my buddy in Massachusetts.

I'm thinking of Jerry too....

We live on the side of a rather steep hill with a twisty little road. Driving tomorrow should be interesting....supposed to be freezing here, too. Eric is supposed to fly tomorrow, but I'm thinking it isn't going to happen; when the altitude for ice is 0, I'm doubting the Cessna is going anywhere.

Just heard from my pal Diana in the National Guard. She is now stationed about 20 miles north of Bhagdad, starting a year's rotation as a medic on a helicopter. My little neighbors are selling Girl Scout cookies...think I'll buy some on the non melty ones and send them to her...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Vibes for Jerry and Louise!!!

Been thinking of you both!

We are above freezing temps! Not that I should be breaking out the flip flops though, but I wore then anyway outside. I am tired of winter! :) (Shhhh, but I do not mind hiking though!)

Jim - sorry haven't asked - how was the plunge?

It's Friday!

Cool, Tara. I'm thinking a little care package every month or so can't hurt. If she doesn't want them, she can share...

Snow in California, what's next Germans bombing Pearl Harbor, dogs living with cats.

Tipsy/Lily

Our snow turned to rain, YES. I'm saying that while I ponder a very long commute, later when I look at the heavy rain soaked snow that the snow blower will not touch and have to move by hand, I will not be as happy.

Warning a little bit political.

Robber Barons Unite, you have nothing to lose but your Kenny G.

Jerry healing BM on its way, get well soon.

Debbie i snorkeled with the dolphins today myself. They were in three foot of water right in my driveway. Safe travels tomorrow. Hope the wind subsides by then. Three hour delays at Liberty today

Safe day to all

Love you Jackass

So get this, I was walking today, to an appointment, when a cussing guy in a p-uptruck, swerved directly, deliberately (no oncoming traffic) into a mega set of puddles next to me, and completely soaked me. I shut my eyes just in time to avoid the toxic road waste hitting my eyes. The car behind him stopped to help, gave me her scarf to wipe my face off, offered to drive me home, but I felt too gross and soaked to get into her beemer. Appreciated the jesture.

Missed my long awaited appt, and sobbed all the way home. I'm very sad.

Wow... Brenda imagine what a horrible karma awaits that idiot! Be glad that you are not him my friend, and I am so sorry. I hope that you're warm and dry now.

I'm heading into the kitchen to see what I can rustle up for brunch. It has been pouring down all the day long here. Yippe-ki-yai-yay!!!

Warm, dry hugs, and a quick rescheduled appointment with your doctor.

Oh Brenda, that's just horrible. I'm sorry this happened. You can clean the yuck off, the person that did this is probably full of yuck inside and can't shake it off. Hope the rest of your day is better.
