Someone mentioned it was kind of slow today. So in way of weak entertainment here's three pictures taken over a six week period, at the same place (Clark Point, Wolfburo, NH), of a Small Mouth Bass. All three times he exhibited the same behavoir, following me around for the whole dive. The question is, is he the same fish?

Looks the same to me Cecil...very similiar...but #1 and #3 have more white on the underbelly...or is it the angle? But # 3 has a little red spot where the hook may have been?

hmmm...sure looks like the same fish in all three photos to me. Cecil looks like you have a new friend that needs a name!

Cecil - I'd say you're fish bait! Same bass - betcha. I'm so glad he didn't go home to someone's frying pan, and dropped that hook. Maybe it's a she? Fontana Bass (Goldfinger singer)?

This mark above the pectoral fin looks the same on all three shots.

Whoops - nevermind. It was Shirley Bassey. (I KNEW it was a fish name. Fontana Bass did Rescue Me.) LOL
