It was another busy morning for me with spin class @ 7:30am, chatting with friends from class, then on for coffee and grocery shopping.

Poor Terry worked an extra day shift yesterday, then went in again at 10pm thru 10am this morning. The hospital doesn't budget overtime but once in a while, so he's on it like stink on....
I'll be tip-toeing around the house while he sleeps in for a while. In fact I might as well do some yard work in this beautiful weather.

And Brian, we're psyched. As soon as I finish this note, I'm over to the Hertz website to book our rental car at the Manchester airport. Then we're off for 10 days of driving about north Wales and Shropshire!

Pam and I spent a good part of the day with our Chef in Training, we went to brunch at one of N.E.C.I.'s restaurants and OMG what a veritable party in your mouth. many different salads, two incredible pates, artisian cheezes galor, incredible smoked salmon and whitefish, several baquets, sauces, smoked fresh turkey, beef (several ways) desserts OMG THE DESSERTS, eggs to order, french toast, crepes, pancakes. Then, then, then, we got to the food.
Think we are going to have cornflakes for dinner.

Ham in the oven with the kids favorite...green bean casserole (but they aren't home, so I get it all!!!!)

Just me and Ken sitting around all afternoon...he has been working on taxes and I've been napping and reading. We went to a local firehouse for a pancake breakfast this morning. Saw some familiar faces we haven't seen in a while, caught up with them and had a nice time all around.

Have to go for an x-ray of my wrist/arm tomorrow morning. Woke up with it swollen and very painful this morning. Been icing it on and off all day...if I could cross the fingers (they are swollen too) I would. Hoping it's not broken
