Hi BT! Snow started here, a couple inches already, then rain, then heavy wet stuff tonight.

I am so ready to see some flamingos flying over the sky instead of Canadian Geese!

Good morning all. Tink, thanks for starting this, much better than semi-nekid gingers. Nice to see you back, although it will be afternoon before you read this.

Big storm tonight and tomorrow morning, I have tomorrow off, I'm getting a hole in my head (dermatologist).

Shoveled 3inches of heavy white stuff off driveway and sidewalk. Turning into sleet/rain now, glad I got that off as it will freeze later, snowplow doesn't like heavy white stuff. Next round tonight and it's gonna be plow amounts for sure.

Wednesday funny ...

Will I Live to see 80?
Here's something to think about.

Bob recently picked a new primary care doctor. After two visits and exhaustive Lab tests, the doctor said Bob was doing 'fairly well' for his age. (Bob just turned sixty two).

A little concerned about that comment, Bob couldn't resist asking the doctor, 'Do you think I'll live to be 80?'

The doctor asked, 'Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer, wine or hard liquor?

'A little wine or a cocktail once in a while,' Bob replied. 'but never any drugs.'

Then he asked, 'Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued Ribs?

Bob said, 'Not much... my former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!'

'Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?'

'No, I don't,' Bob said.

'Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have lots of sex?'

'No,' Bob said...

The doctor looked at Bob and said,.. 'Then, why do you even give a s**t?'

An attorney arrived home late, after a very tough day trying to get a stay
of execution.

His last minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed and he was
feeling worn out and depressed.

As soon as he walked through the door at home, his wife started on him
about, 'What time of night to be getting home is this? Where have you
been?

Dinner is cold and I'm not reheating it'. And on and on and on.

Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he
poured himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak in the
bathtub, pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks as he dragged
himself up the stairs.

While he was in the bath, the phone rang. The wife answered and was told
that her husband's client, James Wright, had been granted a stay of
execution after all. Wright would not be hanged tonight.

Finally realizing what a terrible day he must have had, she decided to
go up stairs and give him the good news.

As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the sight of her
husband, bent over naked, drying his legs and feet.

'They're not hanging Wright tonight,' she said.

He whirled around and screamed, 'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOMAN, DON'T YOU
EVER STOP?!'

Ugh...I won't even describe what it looks like outside my windows. MF and PP be very glad you are not here! It is just wicked! My road is so bad that even in 4wd I couldn't back into my driveway. I just hope I can back out when it is time for me to go to work at 2:30! Boys have mid-terms this week and Jared was able to get to his morning test. All afternoon tests were cancelled and will be rescheduled. Ken's office is still open, but I'm hoping they use some common sense and close soon! Nobody should be on the roads right now.

Why, oh why, do I have a job that never closes? It would be so nice to sit in front of the fire with a nice drink tonight!

Ahhhhh, the joys of life ;)

Time to go read the rest of the thread...

Hugs to all

See you from the dispatch desk shortly...

No snow here, usually we get it before Philly... but nary a flake yet.

Loving Wife

A man breaks into a house to look for money and guns.

Inside, he finds couple in bed.

He orders the guy out of the bed and ties him to a chair.

While tying the homeowner's wife to the bed

The convict gets on top of her, kisses her neck,

Then gets up & goes into the bathroom.

While he's in there, the husband whispers over to his wife:

'Listen, this guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes!

He's probably spent a lot of time in jail

And hasn't seen a woman in years.

I saw how he kissed your neck. If he wants sex,

Don't resist, don't complain...do what ever he tells you.

Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you.

This guy is obviously very dangerous.

If he gets angry, he'll kill us both.

Be strong, honey. I love you!'

His wife responds: 'He wasn't kissing my neck.

He was whispering in my ear.

He told me that he's gay, thinks you're cute,

And asked if we had any Vaseline.

I told him it was in the bathroom.

Be strong honey. I love you too.'

WOW!!!!

Deja Vue all over again!!!! :B :B :B

Afternoon!! :)

The stuff that fell here isn't worth even thinking about moving!! :) :)

We're sitting just below freezing, which is pretty darn good for this time of year!!! :)

Hugs and warm thought to all of those having to deal with the white stuff!! :) Our turn will come again - possibly before or on the weekend!!!

Ruth - You asked, "Why do I have to have a job that never closes"

Because, my friend, that is what has defined you - as YOU!! :) The seat you occupy at work is where the most good is done, where the most people are helped, by getting the right assistance to the right location at the right time!!! A LOT of responsibility rests solely on YOUR shoulders, who to send, how many, is it dangerous.......... can I keep this person calm, or conscious until they get there.

Rarely will you receive the thanks you so richly deserve, so let me just say

THANK YOU!!!

because I know your job - from the 'other' side!!!

:) Bill :)
