Good Morning :)

ahhhhh perhaps Tom you should look at tomorrow's weather for the republic of Vahmont :) seems you may also get a little wintery stuff ....

still snowing here about 8 inches so far wet,( or at least that is what G says..lol looks like 2 to me..} with sleet inbetween the layers HOW nice...... the wind is driving the snow/sleet sideways.. all schools canceled..... sounds like a PJ day to me :) hope everyone is safe and warm.

Good Morning BT. We lucked out this time around, got 6 inches of white powdery stuff. Schools here are closed. Good thing, not one plow has come down our street yet. Gregg made it in to work in Bensalem, PA, said the major roads near Phila. are better than Jersey's. Snow has officially stopped here.

I like the PJ day, Freddie. :)

Morning all, It rained until about 10pm last evening then the snow started. We got about 2 inches on top of the "crusty" stuff that was left from last storm.
Streets are icy but the sun is out. I'm sure it will take some warming up before I can get the van out.
'Nother round next Tues and Weds. so says the "weather gods"
Unfortunatly it is NOT a PJ day for me :(

Rough morning in NE, just a little of the white stuff on the ground. On that note I am missing some things this morning, a car, a grill and several sets of stairs.

Still coming down and we'll get more before it winds down this afternoon. I'll consider pushing it around then.

We have about 8 inches, which is no big deal. However, Kathi is off from school, so maybe she can now help me pack some stuff that she made lists for me to do the other day.

This is absolutely incredible. Slurpy anyone?

Another northeast Ahia (Medina) greeting, BTers. The scene out our west windows is gorgeous -- frozen lake, clean snow covering the old grotty stuff, birds at the feeders. But -- it is still SNOW!!!!!

The young man (Lloyd) who greeted us for a couple of years on our arrival at Harbour Village told us he was going to seek his fortune in the US, specifically in Boulder, Colorado. We were surprised but delighted on our next trip to seem him back at his post. All he could talk about was the cold and snow. He couldn't believe it. I don't think the poor man had
ever in his life been cold!

Bonaire residents, when you live in what we, at least, perceive to be paradise, where do you go on vacation?

It has to be a hot doctor. It's the only plausible excuse. She is having her mail forwarded to the Dana Point Urgent Care. Just sayin.

Jerry, did you say that you broke wind??

This has been the longest week of my life. Really? It's only Wednesday? KILL ME NOW!!!!!!

Snow here, too. And more snow.

:) :) Good Morning, Everyone!!! :) :)

Just a LOVELY morning here!!! :) :)

Had to dig my way in to the garden shed, to get to the snow blower. My 4 driveways are done - or were..... just looked out and it's falling again!! :) :) But falling sideways, just like before. Wind out of the north. Driveways oriented east - west.....

Doing half of each driveway, I got covered, the other half, I got a chance to unthaw.

Isn't it just marvelous!!! :) :)

And we're not more than a half month into winter now!!! Lots more to come!!!! :) :)

La, la, laaaaaaaaa

It's beginning to look a lot like Christamas......

:) :) Bill :) :)

:) No problems, RA :) I posted it, have grieved at the loss of a 'brother' and for now, will just move on.

It's just a reminder that, while our warriors are helping to bring peace to troubled lands around the world, our police, fire and EMT personnel are working to protect all that we have and enjoy at home. If you have a relative, or neighbour in any of these services, thank them - they all risk their lives for your community every day. :) :)

Bob's telephone interview went well and he is having a face to face interview in a few days. He would really like this job so please keep the fingers crossed.
We had awful weather before Christmas but it is unseasonally warm today, 11C! But rainy.
Hope the snow blowers work well. I went to buy a new snow shovel but they had sold out and were not getting any more in. 'There won't be any call for them!' I was told. I was in full 'climb the Alps' gear and the snow was 2 feet deep as I went out of the shop. Ho Hum

No pix to share...been just lazing around inside the house, warm and cozy and haven't even gotten dressed in real clothes. Just wearing my purple snowflake jammies :) I have been cleaning the house, doing laundry, cleaning our bedroom, getting rid of clothes and am still looking at the tree that needs to be taken down...I just don't wanna do it!!! I'll be starting it soon. Need to get it done today.

Ken and Nathaniel shoveled the walkway and driveway. The boys are now with their friend Cory (actually Ben's best friend) who goes back to college tomorrow. They are to be home before it gets too late since it is a school night, technically! Who knows what will happen tomorrow as it is STILL snowing here! Quite hard!

Okay...enough of sitting around on my duff...time to get some more work done!

Bill...I pulled up the article on the slain Sgt. What a tragedy. My heart goes out to the family and the department. May he rest in peace.

Hi BT!

Julia, didn't know Bob was going for an interview, glad the phone one went good and keeping fingers crossed for the face to face one for him. I bet he lands it with flying colors! I have a spare shovel to give ya, but I think it would be spring before it got to you. Hope you find one.

Sorry about your back, Jerry, soak in a hot tub with Epsom Salt, helps it, really.

Tara, your kitty knows how to live! What a life. Want to adopt me?

High winds and lots of drifting snow added to the bitter cold outside, glad to be warm and toasty inside.

Well, off to read a good book.

Nighty, Night, BT.
