Actually, I woke up at 5:30 with leg cramps, and couldn't get back to sleep :( . So I guess that makes me first on the list today.

Cold, gray, dreary, but no snow. However, we are in another one of those long 12-14 day stretches when the high temps won't go above the 32F mark. Light deprivation coupled with arctic cold means either getting to Bonaire very soon (32 days!) or getting an appointment with my therapist. The trip to Bonaire is both cheaper and more fun...

Morning BT! Cold as all get out here, and a big snow storm on the way for tomorrow and Wednesday, we really got to set up old man winter with a lady friend so he won't keep hammering us here with that white stuff.

Brenda, it just goes way too damn fast, doesn't it?

Yes, we are going to get pounded again. It is coming right up I 95. I wish they would have never built that road. :)

We are getting all new hardwood floors next Monday. Kathi has prepared sequential lists for me, yesterday, while I was out watching the Eagles get beat up by the Packers. This is really going to be a barrel of monkeys.

One of the cats just threw up on the family room carpet. How wonderful? Jim, please clean this up, and give me more food so I can do it again. Thank you. Oh, and change my litter box too big boy, it's a little messy for me. While your at it...

Freddie, what is today? Is George getting that implant? :) :)

I want to move, at least to Savannah.

Dang, I'm still drinking coffee on this coast. It's freakin' cold here, too. By our standards. But it has been in the high 30's at night....I shudder to see what it has done to my outside plants. I covered them, but they don't look happy.

Tonight, I'm going here: http://deyoung.famsf.org/deyoung/exhibitions/van-gogh-gauguin-cezanne

RosAnne and I tried to go together, but we couldn't work out the ticket availability/child care logistics. Sorry, RA. The Picasso exhibit is the next installation, and I get free passes now that I'm a member...let's go to that one!

Cecil, he is part of a generation of soldiers who were on the side of the angels.

If anybody is visiting San Francisco, there is a restored Liberty Ship, the Jeramiah O'Brian open to the public that is worth a visit. The docents are all folks who served on it in WWII...they have some pretty interesting stories to tell, and are appreciative of an audience. These aren't stories we will be able to hear first hand forever...

Hey BT!

Freddie, That is so sweeeeetttt!!!

Superturtle, I feel like that too, hubby had one awful cold last week and just had to share too, going to take stock in Puff's tissues, they have to be making a killing with this weather.

Just got a call from my youngest son, he had a track meet all the way in Tom's River after school today, last week, I got a call that he was just leaving there at 7:10pm, tonight, nada, no call, had me worrying here all night, JUST got a call that he was leaving, omg!, that makes him getting back to the school at 10PM! That is just wrong having a school sport till that time of night. Rant over. At least he is safe and I will be heading out to pick him up soon.

Jerry...I could only dream of that being my shack! Ours a little more humble :)

Freddie...N I C E ! ! ! !:) Just tuck her away for the next week or so...that darn weatherman keeps upping our snow amounts!

Been busy running around all day for doctor's appointments for Jared, along with having one sick twin with a mild fever/cold, picking up the other twin and spending lots of time in the car...relaxing on the sofa with Ken now, watching the Auburn/Oregon game.

Tomorrow is going to be another long day. Need to finish up getting things for Sarah's baby shower. Her big present should be here tomorrow...a glider rocker/ottoman :) Just love amazon prime that gives us 2 day free shipping! Plus the prices were drastically less than other websites with the same products! I plan to make a baby clothes line with a variety of things on it...a few outfits, burp cloths, blankies etc... Ken just rolls his eyes when I start mentioning shopping :) He will keep the twins busy while I shop :) Sarah is going with a Mickey Mouse theme with fire trucks and police cars thrown in. I can have lots of fun with that theme :)

I'm off til Thursday. Since I'm the cpr instructor, they scheduled me to teach on Thursday, which gives me Wednesday midnight off...no complaints from here!

Okay...I know I missed a lot on here today and I apologize...I'll go read the thread now...just caught the pic of the new ride and saw Jerry take our names in vain ;)

Hugs and misses to all...

No, actually, when my older son was 13. World Series game in Kansas City. Tournament got a "little" behind and the championship was at 1:00am. The really good part was that I was in the emergency room until about 3:00am with my son getting stitches after he (center field) and the shortstop ran into each other trying to get to a bloop fly ball. NOT FUN! (But we won.)

Oh, World Series Game. That makes more sense.

Normally, H.S. sport functions don't go that late, was a little surprised. But, get this one, he has been invited to a huge track meet in NY next month! That's pretty big as for a sophmore to be competing with seniors, well, a feather in his hat for sure and he is very excited to go! I am sure that will be a late night! don't have all the paticulars yet, but who knows? He may end up in the olympics yet. Hey, a mom can dream, can't she?

Sounds like we have similar kids. Hunter made state track meet freshman and sophomore years. 100/200/4x100. And he isn't really on the track team! He plays baseball and goes to run when they don't conflict.

E. interesting. Brandon does Cross Country and Field and Track, likes both but excels in Track, don't really know the lingo for track stuff but he does 400 and 800 and longer distance as well, has a private trainer for what I call the sprint ones as he has done really well in those, but I know he runs in longer distance too. Last meet he ran in two races.

How did he make state track if not on team? Just curious, still learning about it all, he's the last one, my other kids did baseball, soccer and girl did softball, field hockey and ASA Softball, lots of travel in ASA one.
