Good Morning Everyone :)

Jerry - hope you can catch a break after Santa comes! Glad that "almost" snowstorm is missing us all in the northeast :)

Here's some pics from last night's festivities

An absolutely wonderful time at Freddie & Georges last night! Soooooo much good food and good friends :)
They outdid themselves with the food and decorating! Their home was decorated in a nautical/Christmas theme and so very tastefully done :) :) :) :)

Here's Kenny doing his famous turkey carving

Kenny getting ready

And Freddie getting just one more thing

Freddie

Their beautiful home-made wreath

This just has to be seen - pics don't do it justice. This was quite a conversation piece....The Driftwood Tree

Driftwood Tree

Notice the lobster bottom left

And the upstairs tree that took 3 days to get together

Upstairs Tree

What a Tree

There are even some baby driftwood trees :)

Baby Driftwood Trees

Ruthie & Ken - two of the best people you'd ever want to know :) I'm so happy to have met them thru BT-1 :)

Ken & Ruthie

And Freddie & Ruth :)

MF & Ruthie

Thanks so much Freddie & Capt. George for another Great Christmas Event! It was a lot of work for you two and very much appreciated. You are two very special people!

Judy, as you can see, none of the pics came out. I hope they can be posted. Sometimes, pics come out with too many KB's and won't post of they are larger than 100 Kilo Bytes.

I also hope George behaved himself and did not embarrass Freddie. LOL

And you are so right, as people don't get much better than Rufus and Ken.

Eagles/Giants at 1:00 EST. This is going to be a wicked game.

LOVE the pics!!!!! Freddie, one of your mini driftwood trees would fetch quite a large donation on a BT auction...I'm just sayin'

Hi everyone...shopping, wrapping, decorating, cooking and buying shoes...I've been busy, miss you all and hope everyone is doing well.

Freddie...don't forget my food porno pic's tomorrow! LOL

One of the local boutiques had a small driftwood tree for sale.... just saying!! That Freddie is way ahead of the trends!

I went out yesterday to get garland and came home with the cutest little tree. I just couldn't leave the poor little fellow there in the rain and mud :):)

Guy is off to work so I'll spend the day wrapping his presents, cleaning the house, cooking and getting ready for Rasta's Happy Hour tomorrow night. Even with all the rain it looks like quite a few people are going to stop by -- her fan club :)

Do you guys need lunch? We have roast pork, mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. There is apple sauce and gravy. How about jelly (jello?) and ice cream for pudding?
The weather in the UK has been really bad and we are expecting more of that white stuff as we speak. I had to close my teaching unit because it was too dangerous or the students in wheelchairs and on crutches. I still have three more work days and I am having to use Bob's big car because people are having the sumps ripped out of their cars by piles of frozen s*** turned to i**.
Oscar cat is disgusted by the whole icy experience and is blaming me.
Christmas shopping is done but some things ordered on line are still to arrive because the post has been disrupted by the bad weather. Fingers crossed. Hugs to everyone and stay warm and safe!

Happy Sunday all :)

Had a fabulous time at Freddie and Capt'n George's party last night :) It was so good to sit and chat with Judy for hours! The food was endless and one thing was better than the next! Thank you for a wonderful evening, Freddie and George.

I am supposed to be getting ready for work, but I have the start of laryngitis and decided that dispatching and phones would not be wise today, so I am staying home and spending the afternoon/evening with my love. He is busy making his buttercrunch and I am puttering around trying to get a few things done. Some days you just have to take a day for yourself...especially when there are so many things happening pre-holiday and the Mom MUST be healthy!

We went to church this morning to see the Christmas pageant...the girls were angels and sang their hearts out during the songs. Davi had a huge smile on her face at the end of "Joy to the World" because she got all the words right! What a joy it was to watch these precious little ones retell the Christmas story.

After church, Bethany roped me back into choir (I sang for years with the choir, but work has gotten in the way) and I am going to sing for the midnight service on Christmas Eve. I am so happy to be doing this. It has been 6 or 7 years since I've been physically part of the service. The down side is that Ken sits by himself in the congregation. He gets to hug me all night long after that tho, when we get home and get tucked in with visions of sugarplums dancing in our heads, waiting for Santa to come down the chimney ;)

Okay...off to get some things done...I'll be lurking as I can. Might even get to the stack of presents that need to be wrapped today! Don't need a voice to do that :)

PS...so good to see you here :) Freddie tried calling you so we could all talk to you! Glad you got the picture!!!

Judy...hugs and love to you and Les. It was so good to see you :) Thank you for posting the pix from last night. People...those pictures do not do justice to either of the beautiful trees! I say everyone needs to just plan a trip to see them in person!

Judy, thanks for sharing the pictures! I LOVED seeing them. I can honestly say that you guys are awesome. How blessed am I that I got to meet all of you?!?!?!
Awesome friendship.

Roy, glad you're keeping up with Zumba. I go 5-6 times a week. I am VERY proud of you . Thanks for sharing your snow pics and the Jack Russel is too cute romping in the snow.

Our girls don't care for the snow and thankfully ours is melting little by little; we only got 5" so far this year. That is plenty.

Ruth, hope you feel better.

I'm in the gym often 8 times in a 5 day span so I have failed miserably at keeping up with BT :(
Maybe 2011 will allow more time?
