It is a lovely morning in Medina, Ohio, though a bit cold. Just makes me more excited to be in Bonaire this February.

Enjoying a quiet breakfast, and delighted NOT to be having my eyes gouged out by some manic shopper in K-Mart.

Does the phrase "Black Friday" make anyone else sad?

Hope everyone has a peaceful day...

Go, Bucks!

The thought of (we don't have it here) Black Friday........freaks me out!

Don't do boxing day either.

Don't do crowds, scared of the mentality, and crushing power of them. Got squashed at a rush seating Gentle Giant ('70's?) concert once.

Sometimes once IS enough!

A family gathering to scarf down the leftovers. May even include some vino. Should be plenty of pie left over, so we can keep the U.S of A's obesity records intact.

omlet with turkey, cran, stuffing, mashed pot, folded, and gravy on top! My meatasaur family still love it!

Thanksgiving on Bonaire:

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every word out of the bird's' mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.
Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard
for over a minute.

Fearing th at he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and
unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude.

As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Afternoon everyone!
No "Black Friday" morning shopping for this gal. Nothing out there in the big box store worth the trouble for me.

I did get up early to dive the aquarium, got there @ 7:15 and the building was locked up tight. Movie security team does not have keys to the building, so all the volunteers who came in on time to dive and feed the animals hung out till 8:30am when an employee with keys came in. At least food was being prepared for the hungry animals.

Divers can't do much without the trainers there to "hold" the dolphin while we get in and out, so we cleaned a couple of empty pools that will be in use later today.

Since it is now a little after noon I will venture out to a couple of stores. The early crowd is probably passed out by now.

Ciao!!

lol!!!

Hard day here, had to actually get out of my sweat pants and leave the house:( I NEED A HUG!!! Then, then, then, as I was working on the soup stock the U.P.S. lady came by and - and- and- oops, wrong website I HAD TO SIGN FOR SOMETHING whewwwwwwww. Two loads of laundry, washed and folded, soup is finishing, putting out lots of leftovers to accompany dinner. SHE PROBABLY WON'T EVEN NOTICE HOW I DID MY HAIR FOR HER TODAY EITHER:( Worst of all, to protect her fragile ego, I'll probably have to fake something later - aaaaaaagain! sighhhhhhhhh:(

Young men, don't think the life of being a kept man is all fun and games. Oh no no no, Ol W.H.N. actually said I probably shouldn't ride today, something about crazy people on the road. Like.... so?

Have a great night, I need to go get all dolled up before she who will not be named gets home. Hmmmmmmmm leather or satin.........

pooooooooof
