Feeling okay doc says another 3-6 months on the blood thinner.

Been riding a few times and did a few Thursday bike nights....MBH has been letting me slide and we are not telling doc about it. Couldn't just let that bike sit there...just ride with a lot more caution right now.

Thanks for the thoughts and stuff folks! Benny's surgery went very well, took longer for him to wake up/be cleared for discharge than the actual procedure. It's all good!!!

OMG, people!!! This may be a long post so forgive me. I'm just now home from the vet. Had a 3:10 appointment. My vet is H O T and I totally don't mind spending time there. It's the spending money there that's the problem

Diagnosis is as follows:

Bubbles is overweight LOL! She is 10lbs. He wants her down 1 lb. next time he sees her! SHEEIT...I knew I had a jump shrimp but had NO idea I had a prawn
She is VERY healthy. Honestly he said she's in good health but she did have a little ear infection in one ear so she's on meds which I thankfully already had at home. I'll work on her food intake somehow, someway!

Bits is a mess. Not a horrible mess but a mess none the less. She has had a cyst/mass on the left side of her face for a while. We have been watching it for the last year and this week it decided to be an ass and act up. It became a gaping wound yesterday morning so I had to act.
We have scheduled her a dental AND a cyst removal for Monday morning sharp!

The vet did a little clean up work on her cyst and without sounding totally disgusting he had to remove the scab, shave a little bit of her face hair and remove some of the debris. It's actually sad looking The whole left side of her face is red from blood! I'm kind of a mess too from freaking out!
It's a fresh wound now and he wants it to stay that way which means I have to put the cone of shame on her She is SO gonna hate me LOL!

He gave me Betadine to flush it our every few hours. Hence the reason the dental and removal are scheduled for Monday....I could NOT stand to do this or see her bleeding until Monday!

Whew, are ya'll still with me!?!
Anyway that's my afternoon. $150 later and we're home. I am praying that Bits doesn't get blood on everything I own. These furkids are my life but lately they're shortening my life!

Stopped at the bank this morning. Car died, poring rain, starter got fried in the pelting rain. Salmon was great!
