I'm back! Well since yesterday. We had a great time in Montreal - kids loved it, gorgeous city, and I need a vacation now. Kidlets were bouncing off the walls LOL!

So sorry to hear of all the sad news. ((((Hugs))))

I only work today and tomorrow - so hopefully Thursday I have time to play on the puter. Lots of hugs, and I wish everyone a great Tuesday!

The rain has started.

Good morning. Big healing hugs to all of you that are hurting today, human and fur.

Nothing on the agenda this week except getting the house straightened out a bit more. I'm going into a "throw away" mode. I have to. With all of the clutter, things never look really neat. Our house is 25 yrs old, and has limited storage, so the clutter has to go.

We went to visit our friend Geno at the hospital yesterday. He had just gotten back from his swallowing test, and passed, and was given the OK for food and drink. He's had nothing by mouth since Thursday night, and has been a tad bit hungry. The tear, or separation, in the aorta is in his neck, and has affected many areas, but he's showing rapid improvement. His speech is just about back to normal, so we had a good conversation with him and Carrie. Next stop is physical therapy, and they're just waiting on the insurance to see if it will be in patient or at home. We all feel in patient will be much better, but the insurance company holds all the cards. Don't they always!

I'm wishing you all the bestest day you can have. It's just an ordinary Tuesday, but once the day is over, you can't get any of this time back! Make just a little bit of it count.

BH, I had my boat in Sommers Point, NJ for many years, home of the Bubba Mac Shack. I use to anchor it around back, off the channel on Saturday nights, or Sunday afternoons. It was great.

RA, Watch "HOARDING"...Monday nites at 10 (my time) I think it's on Discovery. THAT will SO scare you into decluttering!!!!! I've been throwing stuff away all day, I refuse to ever move it again!!! I call it "LIQUIDATING"

My daughter has a policy that she can only buy a new top, pants, skirt, etc., if she selects a less frequently worn one to be given away.

Now I think I'm procrastinating!

I am waiting on the "tree guy" all of our trees are chock full of fruit and need to be trimmed! I can't ship fruit anywhere unless I do it illegally because we live in a med fly zone! I am going to bring some to the Second Harvest food banks today I think. All I need is to be arrested for transporting illegal fruit over state borders!

Just bought 6 of one and 2 of a different type of dog beds. Plus 6 sheets. Have 'em Thursday. Ella, Alfred, Boomer & Apollo thank you effusively!

Can you believe that I just ignored the computer today? I think my brain must be on vacation or something...I got up this morning, went out and started working on the puzzle, Ken came home (it's Tuesday, his half day )and we ran out to do some errands, came back home and relaxed some more till we needed to run kids around. I got some more done on the puzzle...everything but the sky is complete...and the one elusive MISSING PIECE!!!! AUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! I am not happy Sheesh! 1000 pieces NOT!!!

Sitting back down now after dinner and contemplating all that has to be done tomorrow. Nathaniel's guidance appointment for next year's schedule is tomorrow at 10am...the time I usually am just waking up...guess it's time to get back into the real world and wake up earlier...only 10 days til I go back to work. Tomorrow afternoon I go back for my post-op appointment and see what the doc has to say about how my recovery is going. Not expecting any surprises. I'll let you all know how things went when we get home

Time to go see what is happening on the Olympics tonight. It was nice to see the Canadians win the ice dance competition last night on their home turf with US winning the silver.

OH...the picture of the "Dash-hound" looks just like my puppy when I was a kid...Gretchen. We had to leave her in the Philippines when we came home. She was the sweetest dog in the world. She was left with friends as her new family, but I always wished she could have come back to the states with us...
