Well, it sure has been a while since I really chat with everyone. I do lurk and try to keep up with what is going on - good or bad - and all the laughs.

It has been a though year without work and trying to decide what to do sometimes I would like to return to Costa Rica been bilingual it is not hard to find a job, but then at the same time I don't want to leave my son. He is my most precious gift I have ever received and he has done so good for himself, very proud indeed.

In the last month, I have been working a temp position with a non-profit organization. Helping the Executive Director with an annual dinner and business forum that they have every year, it has been great, love what I am doing and it turned out wonderful, have heard lots of good compliments. The job is ending soon but there might be another possibility with another non-profit organization to work for another month,so will see. I also do jobs uncluttering homes/offices which keeps me busy, too.

Sometimes I feel out of place on BT, don't understand the jokes or what everyone is talking about or just ignored but this maybe because I don't spend that much time on BT.

Please don't take this wrong, I just want to vent. Sometimes you just need to say what is on your mind.

I appreciate each and everyone, and I know that you are all there if I ever need anything. Sending you big hugs and lots of love

PS - Rafa is having an operation on his shoulder tomorrow - Tuesday - please send good vibes and healing thoughts.

Elvira, I know that I for one appreciate what you bring to BT and the phone calls we have shared. Don't ever feel out of place...we all feel that way sometimes, but you just have to remember that we are a family here.

I will be praying for Rafa tomorrow. Please let us know how the surgery goes!!!

I'm not always good at communicating like others do, but know that I think of you often and wonder how you are. BT is a place I go to catch up on things, who is sick, who had a baby, etc.

Elvira, So sorry you feel that you don't belong because I always thought of you as one of the "Builders of BT"! I love your smile, your sharing of family and country and you always have a kind word for whomever needs one! Posts do get lost sometimes because of the high volume of interaction but you are never intentionally ignored!

Heck, sometimes I don't get the jokes either! But I enjoy the fact that we are trying to make each other laugh.

The economy has taken it's toll on many and you are not alone, but with your personality and motivation it just has to turn around for you!

Please vent whenever you feel you need to and PLEASE don't be a stranger! Not everyone always get along perfectly but for the most part everyone on BT has a good heart and cares for one another.

Also, I know what you mean about being ignored. I know it's hard for everyone to reply to every post. I know I have REAL friends here, yet there are some that I thought were VERY CLOSE friends. I've noticed that if I am posting, some do not post at all, until I make it clear that I am gone for the day, yet I am still lurking. And these are people that I thought were my CLOSE friends. It hurts, but I do now know who my REAL friends are. And YOU are one of my very close friends!!!!!

Well here I am coming a day late, and a dollar short on whatever was said above. Through the many things my family and I have encountered, both happy and sad, you have always been there. I said something to you on a post this morning, but I guess I got ignored.

Wow, I'd hate that any of us would have to defend ourselves about lack of posting or not being a good friend.

That said, many of us are busy with other things outside of BT, me included. I lurk a lot but don't post like I have in years past. Life gets in the way.

Often I am not sure if somebody's post is a joke or not! But we all know you are truelly part of BT. And every now and then all of us post something and get no response. Sometimes it is just timing of when others are on and what is on their mind at the moment. But all in all, I do believe that everybody here does care about each other.

Good luck in the job market. It is very good you are taking temp jobs, they often lead to something permanent.

Denise, you are so right. That's why I try not to take no response as being ignored.
For the most part, I read and post only in the mornings at work while the rest of my department is still out. From there on I can only post here and there.

I do respond to everyone's posts.....in my head. That's where all the voices are coming from.
