Good Morning, BT! Enjoy the week-end for those of you who work and those of us that don't enjoy it too!

Today, we are all adjusting to me not moving about like I have been. Hubby asks me to make a grocery list, it is getting longer and longer and he is like, ya wanna go with me later? WooHoo! I get to ride one of those scooters in the store, always wanted to do that.

Glad to hear the mod-squad had a great last night together. Sorry for those heading home, ends of vacations are the worst.

What a wonderful day here - not weather wise, but just in that I have nothing that I have to do. Lots TO do... just no schedule.

Bonnie Blue, my recent foster dog, got adopted yesterday! A great retired couple with 138 acres on a lake (I wanted them to adopt me too!!) is Bonnie's new family and home. There are tons of grand-kids and several other dogs for her to play with. I'm thrilled for her new life!

Debbie, I've been making out a grocery list for 2 days, and G's not here to get it for me!! I guess I have to go to the store eventually or my furkids won't be eating. Well, the cat's can have tuna, I know they'll like that!!!!

Kayla left yesterday at noon to have lunch with friends, I hadn't heard from her since. I've been a wreck all morning, her phone was off. She finally text me back and she's fine. Just spent the nite with some friends and forgot to let me know. I guess it's easier when they leave home and you don't know where they are. I get so scared when I don't hear from her. Tonite she and a friend have a hotel in Daytona to celebrate their birthday's together. So, I know she will be ok. It's hard when your 22 year old lives with you and they have a life. I just worry too much. BIG SIGH.

I just had the best time!!! Well first I helped Kayla pack for Daytona...then her friends came and picked her up...I walked in the house and it was just toooooo quiet. SO, I put Calypso's leash on him and Rita's on her. Now, Rita will NOT walk on a leash. WELL, she followed her brother and had the best time walking/running!!!!! It was wonderful to see her so happy and Calypso paid attention to when she would stop, then he would stop. I'm thinkin' 2 long walks a day will do us all some good!!!!

I'm going to give Calypso a bath later, then we may walk to Mama's!!!! Heck, we may even spend the nite!!!!

Tara, I so wish I lived close to you. I can just imagine the fun that Calypso and Rita would have on the beach. Here, you can't take dogs on the beach. They did have a "day" for dogs a few years ago, sponsored by the New Smyrna shelter...I made bandanas for all the dogs and they got them when registering. I ended up w/ my picture in the newspaper running with Wolf, my German Shepherd I had back in the day. That was a fun day!!!!

We would have fun... no doubt about that. Rasta isn't supposed to go to the beach anymore because of her hips. We figure once in a while is good for her soul and we keep her on a leash so that she doesn't over do it.

That said, I'd better give her a walk... its been a couple of days due to all of the rain. She's barking at me!!!!

The other thing too ishubby is on his way home now with a brand new truck! Our car is done. Anyway long story! I feel guilty - we have made donations - like Haiti - and we support local missions - however we look for the best bang for our buck KWIM? We are very excited 2010 Tacoma - however we support local and afar,and we volunteer - though many times we never mention online.

Hello from the land of the mack trucks...that is what my body got run over with last night

I feel horrible and am just not myself today. Sleep was fitful last night despite only a short 1/2 hour nap during the day. The cough lasted all night and my belly hurt so bad when I woke up this morning. Also woke up with the start of a migraine at 7:30 and took my migraine med along with tylenol and ibuprofen, then slept til almost noon. Ken helped me get up and take a shower which felt awesome. Since then I have had an early afternoon breakfast and am on the recliner in the living room. It is good to be out of the bedroom today and be in the main part of the house. I spent only a short time out here yesterday because I was just exhausted.

Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining. I'm really not. Just kinda venting...

On an happy note, we did go for a bit longer walk after I had breakfast this morning. That is helping with the breathing problems along with the tummy muscles

Today's little buddy

Back from zooming about the grocery store with hubby, not sure he will do that again with me. Ha... totally different view/perspective for those who are handicapped and must use those things ALL the time. View from there is not so good, can't reach all the shelves, I had hubby, some don't have a "reach up and grab person" and folks will get in your way, I just about ran over a few, thank goodness it had good brakes, didn't break any speed records, the darn thing only lets you go "so" fast. Probably a good thing. Hubby parked at the far ends of the earth at that parking lot, so found out that walking on crutches does indeed work out the abs as well in long stretches. Had a little workout, felt good to get some kinda workout.

Eileen, LOVE the new truck! Kids and Joel looking like they are loving life right now! Oh, and I am a very supportive person when it comes to "me" time. Take it when I can get it too!

Eileen, I know. We just keep it simple...

Evening BT. Looks like everyone had a good day today. PS & the dogs, Eileen & Joel and their new truck, folks on Bon and their green flash, on and on.

I had an awesome class this morning then went home and changed for the aquarium.

I really like doing the scrub dives. Again, I did the main pool with the boy dolphins. Spent an hour & 10 minutes scrubbing the pool floor.

So I was scrubbing away trying not to notice the shadow going back and forth over me and about 50 minutes into the dive that little bugger Nicholas (dolphin) kept putting his head down to the bottom trying to peek at my face. Then I kept hearing big BOOMS. Nicholas was jumping and crashing in the water. I think he was following the trainers instructions.

To get out a diver is supposed to walk in the cage to the middle of the pool, face the viewing window where the spotter is and give two thumbs up. In turn the spotter is supposed to put a big OKAY sign up to the window so I know they have gotten my message. The water was so murky I couldn't see anyone in the windows, so after many thumbs up I walked the cage back under the platform - thumbs up all the way. Meanwhile Nicholas is trying to get into the mix.

Finally they got the message and sent down the rope and clip for me to attach to the cage.

I must admit I had to sneak a peek at Mr. Nicholas while we both had our heads at the bottom of the pool. I really wanted to pet him.

I think I'll sleep well tonight.

It's great to be around new divers that find there comfort zone. The smiles tell it all. Jokes, pats on the back. Yep, Bill and Chip are on there way

This past week has been filled with such great friendship and respect for one another, the words are hard to find. Meeting Bill, Chip, Tim, Jim, for the first time was mind blowing. What a blast!

Having the pleasure to spend time with old friends, MF, Queen G, Tom, Cynde and Poor Steve, (GOD BLESS STEVE!) is the icing on the cake.

I'm not able to express this past week here on BT because of all the rules in place. I can say that at this point, no jail time, Tom has all his shorts, Cynde is on a plane north, Bonaire is safe.

Tomorrow is a very special day on Bonaire, it's MF & Queen G's anaversery. We hope they like donkey shank? Was going to have the goat, but he ran away Lucky him!

Two dives on tap for tomorrow, a bunch of cooking, and a boat load of hugs, I wish you all can experience this at some time in your life. Best trip ever.
