Just back from my PT session. I got great news, my range of motion has increased big time from 109 to 122 already, shooting for as close to 130 as I can get. That said, next sessions will all be on strengthening!!!! WooHoo, moving on up and on the way to getting 100% now. Lots of hard work on the strengthening, but making progress, it's all good.

Morning all! It's amazing how life can chang overnight...my best friend, Joanie, who was coming to Bonaire with me in April, passed away last night. She was only 55, apparantly had a heart attack & died in her sleep. This poor woman first broke her leg, then her neck, so we'd post-poned our trip to April. Now I've lost her forever. Please cherish the people you love...you never know when it'll be the last time you'll be with them.

I'm so sorry Susan. My condolences to you and her family.

Good Morning, well almost afternoon to my friends around the world. Had a lot of fun down in DC at the Eagle Bank Bowl watching my alma mater, Temple, play UCLA. We were ahead the entire hame, and lost it with 6 minutes to play. I have never been that cold. We were out in that cold and wind from about 1 PM until 7:45 PM. I am still numb. LOL

Linda, yes Bill Cosby did go to Temple. He was there yesterday as well. He played for Temple too.

Susan, that really stinks. Sending you and your friends family prayers and condolences. I was visiting a friend of mine last night and one of her friends daughter's husband died in his sleep and he was only 31 y.o.. Very sad. I agree, cherish each and every minute you have with those you love.

I went to bed early last night -- didn't even bother making dinner. This dang cold is getting a foothold.... crud! Today is accounting from the couch

We've got a lite rain/drizzle and mid 60's here... not enough to make the cats stay inside but enough to keep them under the eaves

the back door is open and LG keeps going out that one, creeping along the side of the house under the eaves to the front door... which is open a crack. I got tired of opening it every 5 mins

Brody and Calypso are in charge of making sure no Owl or hawk get Rita...she has just run and run out there!!!! This is a fun day!!!

Ok, I just had a serious scare. I had Daryl out on top of his cage and I was in the kitchen cleaning. Beaker starts screaming like a maniac so I go into the frontroom thinking that Daryl was climbing Beaker's cage - but worse! NO DARYL!!! I started looking under everything because he likes to be on the ground. I was really starting to panic. Then, I decided to look in the master bathroom, no other reason than I had not looked in there yet. Viola! I found the baaaaaaad little bird.

Tink, pneumonia - tested and confirmed since before Christmas but the ••••••• run around with the doc and meds for us both has kept it going and going. I was very angry at how this was handled. Got it straightened out. Latest greatest whomp it med and both are on it for a week. Will test for absolute surety that it's gone afterwards. I do NOT •••• with pneumonia, too many family and friends lost to it.

We decided today I am remodeling a part of the house (master bath and bedroom)....I think I have recovered from the last remodel project but not 100% sure.Only time will tell. Monday I will be sitting down with our contractor Ali to work out the details, that should be fun. I like him a lot and he does awesome work but his wife and 6, yes 6 kids all under the age of 8 drive me nuts!!

Holy cow! Bill gone wild! Exactly what did they give you at the doctor's office today? WOW!!!

I'm at work and feeling like a mack truck hit me. Started with a sore throat earlier this evening and now have severe congestion and a major headache...nice to be at work by myself feeling like this...NOT...Dayquil in me...hoping it takes effect soon. One more midnight tomorrow night then off til Tuesday. Hoping not to be sick for my days off

Okay...back to work...so far not a quiet shift, which is good because it makes the night go faster...

Ruth that's exactly how mine started.... on my week 'off'. Oh well.
Two hits of Nyquil and a cocktail I'm feeling better!

I thought we were going to go out to dinner tonight but, G had a really bad day and was in his jammies before I could even make a suggestion. Plan B = cream of mushroom soup and prime rib quesadillas. Not too shabby.
