Dearest BT family...I've been kind of MIA lately and cannot promise I won't go missing again, but you are such dear people that I wanted to share with you my sincere thankfulness for all of you and your prayers, good thoughts and wishes over the illness and death of my step-mother, Teresa.

I never realized how very much she meant to me until it was apparent I was about to lose her. I would give anything for another silly phone conversation. Since she came into my life when I was adult, I didn't see her so much as a parent figure, but as a big sister or good friend....she accepted me as part of her family and gave me the siblings I always wanted by nature of that...my step-sister Joanne, who was so close to her Mom that my heart breaks for her, my step-sister, Valerie and my step-brother, John....

My Dad seems to be as alright as he can be. He misses her, but knows he must go on....he has a good support system in my step-sister and her husband who live downstairs, myself and an large extended italian family of nephews/neices/cousins and his 94 year old sister and his 79 year old brother who was with him this weekend.

This is my favorite picture of my Dad and Teresa. I took it at my Dad's 80th birthday last year. Again, thank you my friends...I love you all!
