Good morning folks. You can sort yourselves out for breakfast until Patrick lights up the grill but lunch today will be traditional roast beef and yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, leeks carrots and cauliflower. Anyone up for making dessert, we have ice cream.
All the dive gear is in the bag and Oscar has taken up residence on them in order to stop us going.
Hope you had a good nights sleep PS and you did the right thing with the pup. Sometimes it's hard to put ourselves first!
Hope Al is good Tom! I gave Oscar a big hug from you and also an ear scratch, I knew you would have wanted that.
I have posted a dive computer problem on another thread. HELP
Hope you all have a lovely day. 9Three sleeps and away :-) )

Good morning Julia and BT'ers who follow.
I'm so excited for you, Julia. Bon in 3 sleeps. :-):-)

PATRICK! Please open the grill or it's yogurt for my breakfast.

I had a super day yesterday. After spin class I'll tell you about it. In the mean time I have to get some chores done.

Julia, my wife's grandmother was from Yorkshire. When she was alive, God rest her soul, I would make a prime rib at Christmas, and Lil would make the Yorkshire pudding. I have so many fond memories of Lil and I being in the kitchen together, drinking a beautiful wine, and making dinner for everyone. She had that wonderful British wit, and always put a smile on my face.

Good morning all.

Julia, :-) my Riley and Wilbur were both royal pain in the butts last night. Wilbur kept pulling my blanket off of me and Riley wouldn't leave my face alone. He does love his kisses - THA BRAT:-):-):-)

Check out Caribe Inn, WannaDive and Buddy's for the best deals on wrist mount computers. Good luck, safe travels and have a great time!!!

Eileen, I still can't understand why you want to work with all of them little germ factories:-)

Linda, don't we have an exciting day planned? Same here, Pam and I set aside today to do some Fall Cleaning and have the smooth skin kids on line to do theirs as well. Sadly, it looks like crappy weather (surprise) is moving in this afternoon. I really want to ride but.... must keep Tha Boss happy too - DANG IT;-{)} sighhhhhhhh. She won't ride in the rain tomorrow but, I will:-) Might have to trade this model in for one that isn't afraid of "heavy dew" KIDDING, DON'T TELL HER I SAID THAT!!!

Patrick, come out, come out where ever you are.

Skippy, read your post about the tenderloin, that recipe seemed a bit much, hope the meat wasn't a waste. Sammiches? Is it still good enough for sammiches?

Off to make a late breakfast, it's a problem having city slickers for family, they will sleep the best part of the day. Nothing fancy like the short order grill but, there will be; cinnamonamonamon(sp?) rolls, maple cured bacon, eggs to order, o.j., sumatran/french roast blend and earl gray for those that like tea (hackkkkkkkkkkkk)

Speaking of wind.. I stopped at the north side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on my way to yesterday's adventure near Bradenton. There were a few kite boarders catching the wind. They expected 25 mph later in the day - and got it.

Kobi, I never did well with contacts, so still got glasses. My script is not too bad, only for seeing far, pretty much stays the same, however, the bi-focal part of my dive mask needs a new script. Been five years, so pretty good with the old mask. Got a new nice teal colored one I plan on putting the script in once I get the deed done. :-)

And, yup, my glasses have bi-focals in them too, shoot, that took me two years to get used to, but never got used to the contacts, so ditched them.

Kobi , Mee-Chelle, R.WOW!!!, no riding here, just worked on cleaning this shack all day - all good because, WEATHER FORECAST IS CALLING FOR SUN TOMORROW:-):-):-) Pam is making a beef stew, this place smells awesome - mmmmmmmmmm!!!

JERRY, IT'S BEEN SUNNY HERE ALL DAY:-):-):-) I know - BM. Lunch here was leftover tenderloin on a crispy baquette with some fresh spinach, some tomato over which I drizzled.... bit of 1st c.p. evoo which had a few drops of that B.V. you sent my way mixed into it (I hide that stuff). Had some fresh mint so I made a N.A. mojito to go with it - good s**t!!!

Debbie, R.WOW!!!, youhaddayourglasses upside down. I have been through three prescriptions since going off of the meds, need to go get checked again as... I NO LONGER NEED BIFOCALS TO READ:-):-):-)

Patrick, the ribs and prime rib sound delicious. Regarding the "hugs";

I was drunk, you were in a dress, that wasn't fair.
That wasn't me, it was Marcel

Yeah girls, be ready for big hugs in Vegas:-)

P.S., Jerry's place does promote smiles, doesn't it:-)

I hate this time of year other than the fact that it also smells wonderful in here from the thyme, parsley, mint, etc. that Pam has pulled from the garden and a huuuuuuge highbiskits she brought in hoping it keeps blossoming. Oh carp, I'm getting too domesticated, better go sight in a few of the rifles!!! "Honey, I'm gonna go shoot at some things."

Yes Tom, BM!

I cut the tenderloin in half, did one half with the HR, way to much work. Other half was my creation. Sear, salt and pepper. When at 120, remove from over. Cover with a thick demi-glase, top with a table spoon of Hunter-Gathers, pop back in the oven, but broil for the last 5*.
Remove when at 125. Let stand for 5-10 min's.

Crispy on the outside, med rair in center. Cut 1" slice, cheddar cheese potatoes, nice old Zin.

Touch me in the morning, let the song birds sing there song.....LALALA

Got the eye exam done. Now to figure out where to send mask to get my script and bi-focals in. :-)
I have always bought sea vision in the past, this time I got a totally different mask, it is so much lighter and I just love the color!

Hey Tom, I have a pot roast in the oven too. :-) The whole house smells mmmmm good~

Was in the mall, stopped by a store to get son a couple of black t-shirts he asked for, god knows why he wanted black, but anyway, they don't have any~put all in the back as too much winter stuff and X-mas stuff is out. The dude had to go in the back room and get them out for me. Hey, I know lots of folks who wear tees all year round. Rather odd, but got the tees, so all good.

Yummy, Brownies~ got a double choc. cake on tap here for dessert tonight.

The natives have been restless, tonight, in this house. Pups driving us crazy. Want out, then back in, then back out. Over and over again; more than normal & all day/night long.

Rob's about had it with all of us. I told him if the girls can go to Vegas with me we'd all leave tonight LOL! :-)

Michelle -- ditto in spades to what Jerry said -- enjoy the journey :-)

Ruth here's to hoping the fact that you're back means things are getting on the good side.

Guy is on his way home, steaks are almost ready for the grill and pasta is on the stove.... I can't believe that I'm going to eat more today but --- by golly I sure am!!

This is my group minus one (good news is that she was feeling better today and their son who has a compromised immune system and had progressed to pneumonia is doing better ~ we were really worried about him)
with our Lipsticker flag that we each carried on the Avon 3Day 10 years ago
Lipstickers
and enjoying the beach house and sunset
ahhhhhhh
around the fire pit
1 2
we ate, we drank, we walked, we ate, we drank, we talked, we ate, we drank, and ate some more!!
