Well, G left this morning at 6am for GA. I packed all kinds of stuff, in case he finds a place to stay. He's got an air mattress, sheets, blankets, TV with a REMOTE!! I think that's all he needs to be happy!!!LOL

Next will be dishes, and stuff like that.

I've never been hugged so tight in my life as when he was leaving. We don't know when he gets a day off, but he'll be home then. I miss him already

G just called. He made it there in 2 hours and 15 mins. He's at his new job, and knows a lot of the guys there from when he worked there in the past. Hopefully he'll get a place to stay today. I found a studio apt. for him...I just hope he can get in there.

Krispi, Weekend was pretty good. Got some more yard work done, tossed out some clutter and went to the movies. I highly recommend that you don't see the new Terminator movie unless you are a fan of the series. Maybe it's just a "guy" movie, but I did enjoy the popcorn and the seats were great.

Good Morning! We are really having a blast here, visiting family and all. We are off again today to one of my other brothers house and off to the boat again tomorrow for more fun. I can't post pictures from here, so will have to wait until I can pick up a wireless signal for my laptop. This was a bad weekend for me.
My friend for the past 35 years and wine teacher was rushed to a Boston hospital, internal bleeding. Not doing good at all.

Then I get a call, another wine friend had to put down his 17 year old Pit bull. Got sick Friday, cancer was found on the liver.

so sorry to hear... best wishes for your friend in the hospital - and I know its soon - but will there be a puppy in the other freinds future?? That can help sometimes...

Jerry, I'm so sorry to hear of both your friend going in the hospital and your other friend loosing his best fur friend. Many ((((((HUGS))))) to all of you.

Been busy, busy, busy all day!

Got the girls at 7:30 and we went grocery shopping (darn dogs needed food, and did you know that if you want to use the washing machine, it works better with detergent? )

Then it was home to unload the groceries and get some french toast for breakfast.

After that it was time to get ready for swimming leassons. The girls are in the advanced beginners class since they put their faces right in the water and wiggle around like tadpoles. Got some pix of them...working on getting them downloaded...

Now we are back home and relaxing. Becca is putting puzzles together and Davi is sound asleep...she got tired out!

Jerry, I'm sorry it's your week in the barrel...

We drove up to Pt Reyes National Seashore yesterday and walked and walked and walked on the beach. I used to live so close to that area that I regarded it as my back yard, so I was especially happy about taking the trip. It's not that far, but the &*%#@& Golden Gate Bridge on summer weekends can take forever.

Then I see all the folks who came here just to see the &*#@& Golden Gate Bridge taking pictures, and I remember it really is a beautiful place.

People who think of bikinis and red trunked lifeguards are thinking of SoCal...the water up here is cold. But it was the rare day when the sun was shining and a little wading and sun bathing was in order.

I have a red nose....

i like cupcake tops - and muffin tops - you know they have baking pans just to cook the tops now...

Had to take Brandon to drum lessons, just got back and he is using my car to try to get a new battery, he "thinks" maybe that is it, if not, his car goes into the shop.

Great news, Donna!

Well, Gregg went to go get a new battery for his car and guess what, one of my tires blew out on his way back home. What a night. Good thing, I had a spare, he was able to put it on and when he got home, battery worked, so some of the things got fixed. Oh, I had bought a shower head while son was at drum lessons and I actually did good and it fit on existing shower hose thingie. Thinking I better go to bed before anything else can go wrong!

Just got home and downloaded the pictures of Merie that I took before leaving for work.

Debbie - you need to step away from anything mechanical (hubby too and just pray!)

Tink - hi! (and I wanted to know about the black dogs too but couldn't ask figured the milk dog had something to do with it)

Finally found someone to watch our dogs (and house) and can go visit the island for the first time anytime for a week. Starting NOW --- YAY!!!

All I can say after the last 3 hours of researching flights is HOLY SHOOT!

You gotta REALLY want to get there - no one prepared me for the crazy ass #*@*&! to get to the island!!! I think we've figured out you can only get on and off island Saturdays by porpoise or Thursdays by flamingos.

Bill, from Boston it's always a crapshoot! Good luck. I live in Amesbury / Newburyport, not easy my friend.

Srsly Jerry! The choices seem to be Jet Blue to Aruba and pray you get to Bonaire and back, Delta stay in Atlanta overnight, or Continental and stay in Houston overnight.

What's really wild is that it seems there's a conspiracy to limit travel to Saturdays only!?!
