Lots and lots on the agenda for today. Have to make a trip over to Sag Harbor to meet a friend who has some goodies for us and also go to the Sag Harbor 5 & 10 (it's that store you go to when you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else! I've loved this store since high school!) Back home to do some work on a few things and grocery shopping and...and...and...finally some fun down time this afternoon somewhere west of here

We had a nice day on the boat yesterday. Went partially around Gardiner's Island and then made our way back to the harbor with views of the East Hampton coastline. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! Back in the harbor, Ken clammed for a while and I burned my back while I was reading and relaxing...oh well...just pink, not horrible.

We tried to go crabbing for blue claws last night, but they weren't biting so we had fried chicken and the best sweet corn of the season so far!

Off to run errands now...

It's a warm one here, too Jerry... ugh - stifling humidity. Not my favorite weather.

Cecil - I'm going to Cynde's to see Giant Black Sea Bass in 2 weeks She told me you'd be jealous, LOL

Better get home and get studying for my Rescue Diver course... it's going to be (hopefully) this coming Thurs pm (classroom), Sat/Sun (water). It'll be good to do that right before kelp diving... hopefully will help me keep my cool in a new situation.

Hi! I feel worse! No news still on Clare!

The sun is still shining! No more Guam pics....she needs to take some to share! Haven't talked to her since Fri. night....middle of the night there now...hopefully I'll get an email when she gets to work Mon AM (tonight!)

G got offered a job in GA. Well, we drove up there on Friday and it's only like 2 1/2 hours away...but he has to live up there during the week. He only comes home one day a week. He took the job. I'm glad he did, because he was SO being taken advantage of here. Yall know, no days off, there from open til close....blah, blah, blah.....

This will be VERY strange. I've hardly seen him as it is...and now he won't be home at nite either. I figure me and Calypso can drive up and see him alot.

I got my stuff entered into the art show. I'll find out around Sept. 7th if I am "in".... I certainly have enough time to paint and make frames now...and wait for my G to come home to me......

Oh, gosh, I just got all teary. Don't tell G...he'll think I like him or something!!!

Thank you Jerry. At least he left the other job yesterday at 3, and has today off. So I have him home with me now. But, he's out front working on his "Stupid" truck. Really, that's the make, not Ford or Chevy....just Stupid Truck!! I think it has died for good. It only has 200,000 something miles on it. Goodness, let it die in peace!!!LOL

Where G's going to work now, he is actually getting a salary, then the financing stuff on top of that. Where he's been, they refuse to do that, then yesterday they said that if it gets any slower he would be the first to go!! You have got to be •••••!NG me!!!! I would've walked out right then. Thank God this offer came when it did. But now we have to figure in rent up in GA. and here. I'm hoping that this show will help me sell my paintings and then I can pay the rent here. I hate for him to worry about all of this. He's had the worst headache for 2 days...I know it's from the stress. But he knows I will be here for him ALWAYS. And I will be there as much as I can. I'm just going to miss him SO much.

OK, enough of my rambling.....

But I know, that's what BT is all about. I appreciate having this place to come to right now. I KNOW I am NEVER alone.

Our friends left yesterday morning so Guy and I spent the day putting away the 'guest bedroom' and then enjoying the calm We went to bed at 9 and I slept until 8:30 this morning (unheard of for me!).

We had a major scare last night though... I couldn't wake Rasta up to give her pills and bring her to bed... omg... she was so dead asleep Guy jumped off the couch and was shaking and even lifting her up --- nothing, nada, just limp.... you could feel our hearts sink. I knew she was still breathing though... slowly she woke up and as soon as she smelled her food (that her pills were in) she was right on it. Very weird and scary.

I'm sitting here watching a bird go thru my tomato plants and pick off the bugs She just got a big fat worm... YEAH!!!!

Man, it is hot, hot, hot, here, I think hotter than Bonaire! Oh yeah, that's right, I don't have an ocean to go cool off in for a dive now. Hmmm, somehow, the pool is just not the same, but glad it is there as the next few days are doggie days of August and humid city.
