This is mostly for BT members near Chicagoland.

Do you know of a dive store that sells *reasonably* priced weights? I am looking for about 50 lbs in blocks of 5, 4, and 2 lbs.

I don't care much about coating but I'd consider coated weights if the price is good.

I just don't what to pay the $5/lbs Lincoln Park extortion rate.

Hey Leo...how far out into the burbs are you willing to travel? I use Below H2O in Aurora 630 820-2531. I'm not sure of their lead prices, but they have been reasonable in everything else.

Tribs, I'll drive out to Aurora just to have a coffee with you (and stop at the outlet mall on my way back, too).

I've always been treated fairly at Underseas Scuba in Villa Park and at Scuba Emporium out in Orland Park.

Thanks Randy. Underseas Scuba is giving me the best deal so far and it's conveniently located on my route to work.

Tell Bruce I said HI! If not for my broken leg last September I'd have had my gear in to them for regular annual servicing.

I bought all my and my daughter's dive gear from Bruce at Underseas, got certified there in '98 and never hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for great products at a fair price.
