PS, dump the current one and go to another. PITA part is you will need to collect all the test results you've had done so far, but it will be worth it. When I broke my back, I was still having significant pain on one side, both the orthopedic doc and pain doc were at a loss. I went to another, he diagnosed it as hip bursitis in like five minutes. shot in the back, BOOM...done, over. Sometimes they are so focused on one thing they can't see outside the box.

ps hope all goes well. took many doc appt to find hubby's problem years ago. would get pain in stomach. our doc was on vac went to doc on call. took 5 min and found out it was from lack of fiber. this had gone on for years before diagnois.

Well, there's another doc in the same practice. I got a nurse to set up a consult with him. He's younger and hopefully not as senile as my reg. doc. Me and the nurse talked for a long time and she told me more than the doc ever has. HURRAY FOR NURSES!! I have a lot of respect for them!!!

My doc actually agreed that something is wrong. He says he WILL find out what it is. I should not be in pain for 14 months and told there is nothing wrong. Well, I told him that HE is the one that told me that. By the time I started crying, he insisted that he would out what is wrong. Then he called me into his office to tell me not to believe anyone who says nothing is wrong. Once again, I let him know that HE was the one that said that. Lovely...
So, ANOTHER ultrasound next week. Me and the nurse at the hospital that does that are getting to be friends. This has been done so many times.

I actually did let him know EVERYTHING...even the things he has told me. I thought it was wonderful when I heard him outside the door wondering why he had me come back 2 days after I had been there. I let him know why I was there and he took care of that. Oh my.....

Our storm has passed, but it was a doozie. I bet PG is still off-line because of it.

It was the last day of VBS today. I've gotten attached to my three babies, Adam, and the twins Gabriella, and Savanna. I would come home and my shirt would still smell of baby! (Except the day Adam threw up on me!) We have a pot luck dinner tomorrow at 4:30, and then the kids will perform their new songs and instrumentals for their parents at the 5:30 service. It was a good week, and I'm very happy that I volunteered to be a part of it.

It's Friday night! Play nice!

Hello BT...

I have done everything that my doctor told me to do. I have rested. I have not done any heavy lifting. I have not watched the twins. (Okay, I had them today, but the boys were taking care of them for the most part...) I went back to work when she said I could, not before, which was yesterday. Soooo.....today I start having all sorts of problems and call the on-call doc. I tell her what is going on and that I am getting ready to go to work in an hour. She says, "Oh no you're not!" and tells me to get my little butt over to her office. Well, I wasn't worried till she said that. Then I started crying. Then I called work to say I wasn't coming in. Then I called Ken who was having a busy day and had a bunch more patients to see. Then I drove myself to Hampton Bays where her office was and still crying called a very special angel who dropped everything to meet me and give me a comforting friendly face. Ken met us there and asked the doctor lots of questions that I wouldn't have thought of asking. I was released to my hubby's care and our car was released to MF and MRF since I was not allowed to drive home by myself (not that my dizzy-self could have done so!)

I am now home laying on the sofa and eating a big red steak and drinking a lot of fluids. Doctor's orders or she will send me to the ER for IV fluids. I am obeying AGAIN!!! I am a good patient, really I am. My body just had some weird stuff. I can't control the insides!

Freddie, you are a gem and I greatly appreciate seeing you sitting there waiting for me when I pulled into the dr's office. It meant more than you will ever know that you were there for me when I was so scared! Thank you for staying with me even when Ken finally was able to get there (drove like a bat out of h... to get there too!) and taking our car so it didn't stay in a lonely parking lot by itself. We will collect it in a few days I am sure!

Well, that is my exciting day...hope everyone else has had a great day!

Tomorrow is another day that has promises yet to be found.

Ruth's car proved to be a great place to put my leftover McCain/Palin bumper stickers.they look great. Also had some N.R.A. bumper stickers that Kobi had sent me and i placed them over an old tattered P.E.T.A sticker that just had to go. Ready for a road trip or maybe we'll just sit in the backseat and look at my wet,round,big,hairless,nestless,well screwed deck.
