Quake last night was WEIRD. Normally they feel like a "wave" rolling and it takes a second to figure out we are having one. This one was MUCH different....shaking, jolting, rough...I have to admit it freaked me out a bit. Living most of my life in So Cal, we get pretty used to them...but this one was different. I think it was on the Fullerton Fault line which runs through Anaheim (Disneyland) down to Newport Beach. Which makes sense why we felt it pretty good. We used to have our "earthquake kit" stocked pretty good in the pantry, but we've eaten or drank most of the stuff...lol. I told WHN we need to restock and have a plan (like do we all run for the pantry where the supplies are???)

Anyway, that's it for me. Tom, have fun...Jerry, sorry about the Tribe invasion...pretend you are old and deaf and can't hear anymore...LOL!

Off to make some "shakey" donuts!

I just saw about the equake... didn't feel a thing here. Doesn't look like any damage made it down to Tinkers but gotta hold on for the aftershocks.

PS, what I like about the product is it's not harmful to the pets, us, or environment. I was looking at their Dust Mite RX, but it doesn't say how it's applied. Geezela is highly allergic to BOTH types of dust mites, so that is always an issue in our house. We have no carpet, but all bedding and dog bedding is washed twice a week just for HER....LOL!

Here is my best kept secret.

Tom, make or get some veal stock,
Make or buy some ravioli shells.
Caramelize some white onions, chop up some good prosciatto, mix together. Put about one teaspoon of the mixture in each shell. Boil the ravioli, will cook fast.

Thicken the stock using arrowroot.

Put 4-5 ravioli in on a warm plate, top with a few table spoons of the stock.

Drizzle the truffles over the top. About 1/2 tea spoon per plate.

I made it dead.

We're back (around 3:30) and totally out of sync with the clock. I'm trying to stay up till 9PM before hitting the hay so I can get back to OUR time.

Ashlee hasn't stopped purring since we got back.

We saw HUGE manta in Yap and learned about current and hooking in while in Palau. The Aggressor Palau II is the best run live aboard I've done to date. Well run and brand new. I'll be posting pictures when I can see straight.

HA! Tara, those jellies are from Jelly Fish Lake in Palau. They don't sting - well they can have a mild sting, but I didn't feel any. Actually they were very soft.

Four days of our two week trip were travel days. UGH!! We were on board the Aggressor with a group of folks from the Middle Tennessee Scuba and Swim. They had booked the whole boat a year in advance but didn't sell all the spots so they released the nine they couldn't sell. What a great group to travel with.
