This place is so special. The people here are very diverse. The way so many can come together and still be so different is admirable. I am so proud to say I am a part of BT. You all make me very proud!

Kathy...we are all different. In some ways I can relate to how you feel. I get ignored sometimes. I don't care. I love BT and even love the few that feel like they don't want to talk to me...it's OK, we all have different personalities and that is what is so wonderful about BT. We all accept each other without condition.
We have never met Kathy but you are a beautiful person and I wish you only the best.

I feel the same way about the UW cams BTW...post from the archives...it is fun!!

I'm going to San Salvador Bahamas in June...anyone been there to dive? It will be my first trip to that island.

Michelle, I lived on Luzon, the main island. My dad visited other islands, but we stayed put. We made treks to the South China Sea and I remember seeing lionfish on a snorkel I did with my dad. That is my dream to go back and scuba there as well as see other areas that I remember so well!

Ruth~and others~the name of the island in the Philipines is Puerto Galero...I'm going with my dive shop. The owner has already been once and she says it is AWESOME !

Michelle, the current President of the Philipines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, is a big diver. She is currently trying to promote the PI as a world class dive destination.

Hey guys, sorry for my post last night after 3 glasses of wine and having my hubby and BFF read the eh? thread. I just get...I don't know, I just miss the u/w cams and hope they are back to life soon. I like u/w and I like welcoming new people. I'm an u/w webcam addict. Not cc much. But that's just how it is, and I accept that, I just want the u/w webcams back!

Philipines! They ran an... let's call it, much like TLC, a story on the manatees, and they used our footage of manatee encounters, with our permission, of course, to much positive feedback. (They kill them, eat them there, but they're trying to bring in a kind of eco tourist, so baby steps). On FB, the TV station made me a friend, and I'm telling you, it looks like a place we would love to dive....once they get their gov't in order!

Diane and Bea, Aruba is nice. More touristy than Bonaire, my son and his wife honeymooned there and really liked it. I have never been. Heard there is a lot of wreck diving there.

Michelle, never been to the Phillipines, but hear it is really nice! Remember to take pictures and post some of them for us landsharks left behind here.

Ruth, I lived on luzon for a short time (about 8 months)...thats where I became addicted to shoes..my family calls me Imelda! to be quite honest...shoes are the best memory I have of that place..sorry.

LOL! I lived there while they were in power, in fact we lived in her senior general's house our last year there! (One of his rental properties!) I am sure that is where my love of shoes came from too! Ken makes me get rid of a pair every time I buy a new one!
