Morning! Back on campus. Spring break went way too fast.

Tiffany is home for a little of her Spring Break right now. Hers didn't start till end of last week, she actually got home last Thursday evening, but I didn't "see" her till Saturday. She has been enjoying her friends and got her first taste of the casinos in A.C. here.

Lots of housework to catch up on here. Shopped almost all week-end for ideas of remodeling one of our rooms. Well, we agreed on the ceiling, vote is still out for the walls, flooring, but found this really cool accent rug that will work.

I'm sorry it's Monday for everyone else, here it is the day before we leave for our "Roadtrip of Diving!!!" So today I must pack the van, clean the house a bit for Kayla (she'll be here pet sitting), and whatever else has to be done!!
3 Days of Diving!!! That just sounds nice!

I just renewed our DAN ins. and had to order Rafe a new cert. card, he lost his. Even though he isn't going w/ us, I got him a replacement card for ME to keep!!

Yesterday Rafe and Livi and I spent the day in the pool. It was marvelous! Got a bit of sun, but I'm not blotchy!!

We are heading up above Ocala to Blue Grotto, Devil's Den and a few other springs up that way!! I am pretty excited!!
I'm also excited that Henderson Hyperstretch really is HYPERSTRETCH!! The 8 fits! I just took it off!!! It felt good to have my wetsuit on...I almost put all my gear on and hopped in the pool!!!LOL

Just checked my camera housing, it's not leaking, so I am good to go!!! I hope I can get some decent pics w/ this camera. I'm not taking the strobe. It's very bright and sunny for the next few days, I should get some shots worth sharing

Have you heard that Morrison springs has reopens. It is supposed to be real nice. New diving platform, docks. No entrance fee, that's a BIGGIE!

Linda, yea, if you need to lose 40, then I'm a tall blonde and look like barbie...

I don't weight myself anymore, I just keep putting on the "semi fat clothes" as my gauge. Still not fitting' into my jeans, but I can fit into a lot more pants and shirts...TG.

We had a GREAT weekend, we took Tuffy over to the anchorage on Saturday afternoon, spent the night on the boat, and had front row seats to the concert on the water. Had a few friends drop by here and there, took all three "girls" and they loved it too. I did get a few pics I'll post later.

PS, G hasn't had a day off in over a year? OMG...sounds like Michael's schedule when I met him. Oh, and Dylon AND Sarah have no idea where their "C" cards are. I told them, call PADI...get a replacement. We've already done it once for Dylon and he lost that one too...LOL! I'm with you, keep it for him...dang kids!

OK, off to make the donuts...

good call Kristi, I think so. I saw some banded at HV and asked our island bird expert about them..they are banded by a man in the Chesapeake Bay area. He came to BON for holiday and saw his birds and was surprised..he had no idea where they went..

Tink, 7days, open to close. And "close" means when ever the last customer leaves. So some days are 16+ hours. He needs this so bad. He's been in the best mood lately. He says he's just working for Tuesday to get here.
I know, at least he has a job, but he's gotten so burnt out. He's exhausted!! I bet tonite at 8 he runs everyone out of there! I can't see him staying late tonite

I got a great video of a Reddish Egret in October while we were there. He was fishing in some standing water. I don't know what for but he was fun to watch. He looked like he was dancing...

I think those are Sand Pipers. They are all over the beaches here. They look like that anyway...

Thanks for the bird info. Krispi and Ann. They have pretty markings, and I loved watching them do their thing. I also loved watching the two tiny yellow birds (chic-a-dee sized)that showed up in the bushes outside the unit we rented on Bon.

That bird is workin' his do. We have these in the low lying areas here at work. Those and all the wading birds common to FL.
I can tell it's spring here with all the nesting eagles, osprey, that mama squirrel I posted yesterday. All the animals are busy.

This is the one I got. He would run back and forth through the water, spread his wings...bob up and down, then grab something out of the water, hehe. He was very cool!

Kobi, I'm so glad your sister is back!! That has got to be the fastest 5.5 weeks ever, unless you were on Bon for 5.5 weeks!! It just seems like she just left!! I bet little Miss It is going to be SO happy to have her mommy back!!!

I just can't tell yall how exciting this "road trip" will be. We have an old conversion van, but it's in perfect condition. The inside is all real wood and big comfy chairs. There's a tv & dvd player in it. In the back we hang our wetsuits and bcd's. The tanks get secured in the back too. It's like a beautiful boat inside. We call it our "dive van"...there are Bonaire stickers on the back, stickers from everywhere we have dived, and of course, G's "My other vehicle is a Pirate Ship"..I love that!! We only use it for when we go diving.
One day we'll have a MM and I'll have to use it to pick people up along the way!!

Mom is OVERLY excited she's back as she is OFFICIALLY OFF DUTY LOL!
Her office team was there to greet her at the airport with banners and stuff. Her boss was there too and we know she's glad she's back

Hi All, real late check in here, got stuck doing errands and lots of paperwork here, never got to the housework, just a mere two loads of laundry, will have to have a re-take on the housework thingie tomorrow.

Got my daughter and her friend here for dinner tonight, bought some real nice porterhouse steaks this morning, fresh asparagus and baked potatoes, as this is my daughter's fav. dinner. The one thing that will be hard to do is cook for her friend, she likes it well done, crispy! Augh! I still like most of mine mooing. But, I'll just throw it on way before ours, that's all. Off to prep the asparagus, check in a bit.

The stage was "floating"...not sure how much it floated, but it was pretty cool. Lots of dinghies showed up and anchored, and the anchorage is a pretty small area, so there were maybe 15 boats there. We had a prime spot since we got there a day early.



Michael had to dinghy the girls to land a couple times for potty breaks. Punkie is in the front, and you can barely see momo's grey head...lol!


Punkie took the cushy chair...they love the boat!

BUT I'm workin' on a manatee meet, and my bff FINALLY got home today, just now. Put her right to bed. She's still asleep and will be till I wake her for dinner, after Larry's home. OMG, I think it's better to book a trip and pay the $$ than take a buddy pass. It killed 3 of her days. Time is money.

It's OK, I'm cooking up something good with steak. Don't know what yet! But I know it WILL comply with the Adkins diet.

Sounds like DanaPoint was rocking yesterday

We spent the weekend with friends in Henderson (basically Las Vegas). It was a great weekend meeting their new 9mo cocker rescue, Tyler. OMG what a cutie he is -- unfortunately Sunday morning he started throwing up - constantly and continually so off to the vets we all went. I was worried sick that he ate a part of the toy I brought him - but then again that would be better than it being a rock from their yard (since their yard is all small rocks). G & I had to leave for the airport before he was out of x-ray so I fretted the whole way home. No obstruction was found so the diagnosis is that they may have changed his food too quickly ~ they had only just gotten him a few days ago. I can't believe that I don't have any pics of him -- I was very lame about taking pics this weekend.

Kobi, so glad to hear that your sis is back home --- what a wonderful thing that her office and boss were at the airport to greet her. I can only imagine the greeting she got from Ms. Rylan!

I've spent the day working online from home --- I really need to learn how to speak and read "Government-ese". My eyeballs are spinning and my brain is mush!
