Lets see CB, mint, I would go with a 5th of Mad Dog 20/20. Drink it right out of the bottle.

Speaking of Mad Dog--- that's the name of the group I used to run with.

Go to photos and the 80's for some laughs. Well, it might only make me laugh.

Yesterday Rianna and I were in the mall and the Girl Scouts had a booth set up selling cookies. I was horrified, not by the cookie sales but the girls were dressed like......hoochie mama's. (I'm sorry I don't know how else to explain the horror) I am not kidding! one girl had on a leather mini skirt, high heels and a green silk tank top and scarf around her neck.

I'm not that old or prudish but it was just wrong! Perhaps the mom that was with them thought it would boost sales. God help us!!! Rianna even commented on how she thought they went a little crazy with the way they were dressed. I thought they were supposed to wear the uniform while selling cookies!

Okay, sorry, Rant off...I was just stunned!

Ah, yes, the mint Girl Scout cookies-- just got my annual case, yesterday!
If my kids don't rip them off, they last to the end of summer!

Pretty soon we will be buying empty boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for $3 and considering it a donation! Cost of GSC is almost like Cheryl's cookie costs anymore. Except that it does help the girls in the neighborhood.

If anyone in Central or Northern NJ or NYC need cookies, just let me know!

Did you know the Thin Mint is one of the top 10 cookies sold in the US despite its unique distribution!

Our council breakdown of the $3.50/box sales price is: troop = $0.65/0.75 (depends on per girl average); council = $1.76/$1.86; patches/prizes for girls = $0.11; baker = $0.88. Cookie profits contribute approximately 50% of the revenues for my council. I've heard nationwide cookie sales are down nearly 15%, so please support the girls, as the sale directly benefits them! (My council is down slightly).

My daughter & I were delegates (2 of 1800) to the GSUSA national convention this year. I can honestly say I did not see any girls dressed in mini skirts. The proper uniform is the sash or vest, with a white shirt and khaki pants or skirts. Please let the leader know that the girls were not dressed appropriately. This is NOT the image GSUSA is putting forward!

They were 50 cents per box when I sold them many years ago...and there were more cookies in each package, too. Ah, yes, progress and inflation! LOl. cb
