Good Morning!!

Elaine, it called Loblaw Superstore. Some areas it is called Real Canadian Superstore - the company doesn't know which name to go under yet. Some are huge in Canada - 200,000 sp ft. This one is 90,000 sq ft. The one where I used to live and still love the best is 110,000 sp ft - and has a photo studio which I miss here! It's all across Canada and sell everything too!

Hugs to all too! I am getting dinner started - don't laugh, slow cooker ribs :-).

Morning! I will be leaving tomorrow. Red eye CO. :-) Almost packed, just a few little items left that I keep thinking I need.

Denise, :-) Will see if the guard crab is still about.

Eileen, I was going to do a rump roast in the slow cooker today, but forgot to defrost it, so onto plan B, when I figure out what that is. :-)

Lots of last minute errands and things to do about the house to get it ready for the housesitter today. Off to it, check back later!

Jerry, I'm just sick with a cold -- because of the cold.

Morning everyone! I'm preparing for another busy day.
Guess what my Terry did yesterday on his day off? He went to the Harley shop, started drooling and twitching so a salesman came to the rescue. All he brought home was brochures, but we all know what this means. :-)

Good morning cyber buddies!

I've used Brian's method of voting this morning.

I voted 10 times through aol
10 times through facebook
and 10 times through BT

But using this link, I don't see where the votes are being counted.

Current scores and position.....

http://www.brickfish.com/Lifestyles/ArtistsChoiceRound2?tab=entries&rnk=true&gridview=false
When I view the spiral, it looks like nothing has changed since yesterday.

I'm cornfused.

I have lots to do today. Our old fridge is sitting just inside the family room, awaiting me to transfer all contents to the new fridge in the kitchen. Tonight we'll move the old to the garage.

I NEED to get out in this cold and buy dog food. Petsmart sent a coupon for a free toy for Chaos' birthday, he's 3 now, so he'll get a special treat today too. I also need to pick up a super duper heavy duty plug because the old fridge and the freezer will be plugged into the same outlet. I'll see in time if we can do without the big freezer, and may get rid of it.

They say it'll warm up a bit - I'm hoping so! Or else I'll move to Florida - oh wait......

Safe travels home Tom. I'm sorry I had such a busy week and didn't get to see you!

Stay warm everybody!

Hi Gail. Happy hunting/shopping. Happy birthday Chaos!! The big three. :-)

Krispi. I weigh myself at work on the doctor type scales. For some reason we have them in all restrooms and of course in the donor room. Must be at least 110# to donate. My progress is slow, but I'm only shooting for 3.5 lbs a month for the next 3 months. I should be able to do that. The sit-up and push-up challenge is really helping with my core strength. :-)

and
Skinny Diet

Linda, Krispi, I've lost about 15 pounds in the last couple of months (I won't tell you how many more I need to lose...lol). Besides working out, I have given up ALL delicious foods. Bread, butter, condiments (mayo), pasta, and CHEESE...the cheese was the hardest to give up. I now find that eating the bad foods, don't taste as good...that's a good thing I guess?

winner selection on brickfish is nto strictly by the numbers . . . see http://www.brickfish.com/Pages/Common/RenderPDF.aspx?nb=1&ContentURL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.brickfish.com%2fPages%2fComps%2fRules%2fRules.aspx%3fgpid%3d413%26docnum%3d1%26r%3d0.884212731329823%26lcid%3d1033&spn=1 page 5 and 6

and I don't think the tally gets updated immediately automatically every time people vote either I think if your compare the numbers for the top three the only place first place exceeds the others is # of views. Keep voting! I am hoping PS has a very good chance. http://denisekacavas.com/

Tink!
Congratulations on the minus 15. Yes, after you've been off the "bad" stuff for a while it just doesn't taste as good as it used to. I gave up candy once years ago, and after months of being off of the stuff I tried M&M's and they were totally gross! (or were they W&W's)
My weakness is carbs.

Brian ---- how exciting!!!!! Keeping fingers crossed and breath held till it's official :-)

I'm waiting to hear from the vet to see if Rasta's amylase levels have decreased. If they haven't I really don't want to have to go on an exploratory test-junkett trying to figure out why. Not sure my wallet can handle that right now.

RA --- how's hamster duty? Everything okay?

It is raining, raining, raining here and boy do we need it.

Hey Boom! It didn't go as bad as I expected but sad. We are planning on adopting a kitty from the shelter this weekend, we may try fostering first to make sure our Kitty is okay with the idea. I think she will be fine, she's pretty nurturing.

It's raining here too, which really is wonderful since we are almost in drought conditions already.

Rajan is still sick, we have a 4pm Dr. appt. he has had a fever for 3 days and I don't like that.

Sounds great for the kitty and your family :-)
Let us know how Rajan is .... poor baby.

I heard that there is 30% lower snow-pack this year for the 3rd year in a row.... that's not good at all.

Brian, Good luck with Holly's original owners (you are her real parents!) :-)

Krispi, Brad, I like your arm curl exercise. Beer and shopping.

Speaking of shopping, where's Kobi? She would be so proud of me today. I bought a strobe, arms and camera tray for my camera and housing. I can't wait to play with it.

Boom, sorry to hear about Rasta, I hope it clears up. I know what you mean about Vet bills Paddy snapped the nail on his dew claw this afternoon £100, luckily he is insured at we will get £50 back. RA we hope the kitty settles in and all your dear ones are better soon.

Linda practice with the new strobe and your camera before you get underwater. Nothing worse than task loading when you are diving.

Cheers all we are settling down for the night.

Brian, I will do that, and may ask for your advise on how to use my new toy - the strobe. A few of our local dive shops have pools for classes. I may mooch some pool time.
Poor Paddy's toe!!!

Linda, I also visited a HD dealer this morning, the one on 192:-) No way around it, Vixen is being traded towards a H.D...... when the snow melts. MELT SNOW - MELTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! (Think "Run Forrest - Run")

Oh well, another lovely trip to Florida comes to an end. Guess I can put away the ice skates until next year:-)

Had a little trouble on the tram between security and the gates... Numa Numa came on the p.a. system and there was a pole beside me. Poor, poor Katie:-) ROTFLMAO, ahem - SNORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom - thinking of a Harley I see. Good choice. What model? I ride an 05 Heritage Softail Classic. Also am waiting for snow to melt. Sunday and Monday coming up look to be in the 50's here with most snow gone, little chance of rain, so............... RIDING TIME before weather closes in again.

OMG, I have to get up at 4:30 am to take my Aunt Tink to West Palm Beach to see her son and grandson. He's almost a year old, and she hasn't seen him since 2 months. Handy isn't it, having a niece who's always been part of your life, living right in the middle. We have had such fun, and even went to the beach in boots! Now FL weather is back, so we're sweating. Which is good.

My Aunt appreciates so much, that I invited her here. We've had such fun and have danced and toasted and got toasted! lol I so needed this, too. It's been great.

Road trip tomorrow, to West Palm Beach and back.

:-)

Beach and babies. Can't wait, esp for the road trip and all we'll talk about and just uhmmmm family is so great and how long it will take. Hand bump to you all. :-) Supposed to be 80 tomorrow. I love that. Finally, crossing over the barrier, I needed my dad's sister, my fav aunt to help me do this, a final part of my recovery. She's awesome. :-)
.

xx
