Sugar Shack is "my song" with my dad. We lived in Palos Verdes Estates and he was transfered to Anaheim. While our house was being built in North Tustin, we drove together to work/school. No freeway direct to OC back then so it was a lonnnggg drive. Sugar Shack was VERY popular and on the radio...my dad would say... every other song! He was so tired of it. So we'd make deals about how long I could listen to the radio and how long he could play on his Ham radio. Such a great memory!! Thanks :-) :-)

ok, now I feel better there's some other "oldies but goodies" here! :-)

I listened to Timmmy's....Smoke Gets in Your Eyes reminds me of being really, really young, like 3 years old...I had something that played that...like a stuffed animal with a music box inside...wow! It's amazing how music can trigger such memory/emotion!
